When I got married I set out to find a black seamstress and I thank God I landed here!! I wanted to give a review when I had official wedding pictures but it just didn’t go as planned. But my experience was amazing!! The whole team listened to what I wanted, they kept my expectations realistic and the process every step of the way was very transparent and smooth. I did not worry one bit when it came to my dress. I even found a mother of the bride dress while getting my alterations. Everything just turned out so beautiful and I couldn’t thank them enough. I took a bridesmaid dress here to get altered. I scheduled an appointment to come in and have them measure, etc.— making this appointment on their website was super easy. When I got there, the lady that helped me I didn’t catch her name was very energetic and friendly. I also briefly met the owner while I was there and she is a lovely lady. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I ended up only having the bottom hemmed since it was too long, but they did an amazing job! My dress was ready in 2 weeks and I paid less than some of my friends did at the dry cleaners and I feel I got better service. AMAZING!!! I would give 20 if I could!! The wedding dress I brought in was many sizes too big and they were able to take my -complicated- dress and make it fit perfect. Sew More is INCREDIBLE! They altered my wedding dress, including cutting the train, adjusted the straps, and adding cups. The work was impeccable and they were extremely easy to work with. They got it done in a timely fashion and are reasonably priced. Very welcoming atmosphere.
I took in a prom dress to be hemmed and when Ms V saw my daughter tugging at the strapless dress she asked if we would be interested in having straps added. There was no pressure to add straps. We agreed to the straps. When we picked up the dress it was a perfect fit. I was impressed with the timeliness of the alterations and the price was fair. I wish I could remember the name of the other seamstress who worked there- she was very nice. I suspect Ms V only hires the best. This is the 2nd time we have used this shop and I highly recommend them and would use them again should the need arise. Thanks for the great professional service!Services: Formal wear tailoring

The Sew More Couture team did an amazing job with my wedding dress. They worked so hard and perfected a wedding dress that was way too large with very intricate designs and details. We went through a series of fittings and they would not give up until the dress fit me comfortably and properly. I highly recommend them for all your tailoring needs and definitely wedding dresses. I can’t rant and rave about this place enough! I got pretty much last minute alterations done on my wedding dress and when I went for a final fitting, my dress fit me beautifully. Not only did they do a wonderful job on my wedding dress, but the hospitality that I received was amazing! My wedding dress had A LOT of lace to it at the bottom, and when she told me that they would have to cut the dress and reapply the lace, I was a little nervous, especially with it being my BIG DAY dress. You couldn’t even tell that they cut a portion of my dress and reapplied the bottom lace portion. They also added a nice bustle that worked beautifully with my dress. It was done so beautifully, the length was wonderful, the overall fit of the dress was wonderful. I had a phenomenal experience at Sew More Couture!! My wedding was September 18, 2022. I brought my dress in on July 8, 2022, during which I was thanked by Ms. V for bringing it in so early. All in all, I needed the sleeves adjusted, length shortened, and bustle added. During the first appointment, I had the dress shoulders measured so they could alter them first before adjusting the length of the gown. I did expect to go back for the rest of the measurements on Saturday, August 6, but they called to ask if I could reschedule. This was not a problem for me, and we rescheduled for August 10. When I went in August 10, the shoulders were altered perfectly, then they adjusted the measurements for the length, and explained the bustle plans. My gown had a unique lace around just the sides of the bottom and back of the train in which the seamstress had to lift and reposition the lace so the length could be shortened without compromising the lace, and it looked perfect! The train on the gown was heavy, but the way they added the bustle was so flattering and layed perfectly. I went in on August 30 to try my gown on one last time, everything was perfect in my eyes. And I took it home that day! Ms. V and the other seamstresses were so kind, warm, welcoming, and helpful with trying on my dress. The cost was SO reasonable, compared to the outlandishly and unreasonably expensive prices of other wedding gown alteration places, and the quality was still excellent! Since the cost was reasonable, I was initially anxious how the quality would be, but Ms. V gently explained how she's been doing this for decades, and walked me through all the details of what she would be doing, which helped build trust with me. She even took the time to show me examples on other dresses she had been working on. She helped me feel so comfortable and confident with the decision to choose her company, and I was SO happy that I did!Service: Wedding gown alterations
10/10 recommend Sew More Couture. Recently moved to the area and was frantic that I wouldn't be able to find somewhere/someone in time to help me out with alterations to my wedding dress. After reading reviews, I took a chance and was more than pleased with the outcome. Bailey was GREAT to work with, even with a bit of a time crunch, she ensured that she would be able to make the necessary changes in time. Not only that, but I was very appreciative of the fact that she wanted the dress to be *perfect* - highly recommend!!!
