Hi, I'm Nicole. I started Sex and Ice Cream when I was 18 because I got dumped by a guy who I thought I was in love with. I wanted to do something to empower myself and I wanted to create something that belongs to me, and me only, for the rest of my life whether I was with a man or not. I wanted to create something that no one could ever take away from me. That's what Sex and Ice Cream is for me. It represents a teenage girl chasing her dreams instead of a boy for the first time. It represents a teenage girl believing in herself and understanding her power as a woman for the first time. These garments and designs are my personal diary. I create them because I want to talk about my experiences as a young woman in the world today. I want to tell you the embarrassing, sad, awkward, and funny stories from my past that led me to understand that I deserve more.
