The Sexual Assault Center’s mission is to provide healing for children, adults and families affected by sexual assault and to end sexual violence through counseling, education and advocacy. Since opening our doors in 1978, we have created a safe environment where each year over 600 individuals find support, counseling and healing. We have expanded our services beyond counseling in order to eliminate the epidemic of sexual violence. They are now impacting legislation for the benefit of survivors, reaching students of all ages and reshaping cultural norms to create large scale change in our community.
