SFU Woodward's Cultural and Community Programs is a presenting partner and programming entity at SFU Vancouver. Our non-academic, public programming includes the dance, film, theatre, and interdisciplinary performances; community programming through SFU's Vancity Office of Community Engagement.
SFU’s Vancity Office of Community Engagement supports creative engagement, knowledge mobilization and public programming in the theme areas of arts and culture, social and environmental justice, and urban issues through public talks, dialogues, workshops, screenings, performances and community partnerships.
SFU Woodward's is located at Goldcorp Centre for the Arts at 149 W. Hastings Street.

Through cultural programming and arts discourse, SFU Woodward's supports public access to the arts within its unique location in Vancouver's DTES, with the belief that the right to culture is for all.
Our core activities are focused on community partnerships within Vancouver's vibrant arts community, resulting in a wide variety of free and low-cost public programming at Goldcorp Centre for the Arts. In five short years SFU Woodward's has formed relationships with 25 cultural partners, supporting over 200 events and welcoming100,000 patrons to the centre each year.
