Let me lead off with I am not a professional a scrapper. I was cleaning out my garage and had a lot of metal products. Sgt. Scrap was recommended so I filled up the truck and headed down. Jason was a huge help in guiding me through what went where. The cashier was friendly too. As a layperson I felt very welcome! If I have any more scrap I'll be headed back.
Been here a few times and have to say this is a mediocre scrap yard, but the worst thing about this place would probably be the women working the counter who I believe is named Michelle. I know there are usually two women who work in the office, and one is very sweet but if you've been there you would know the one i'm talking about. Unprofessional and rude would be an understatement and it's obvious the only reason she has a job there is she's family with the boss or owner because if you're running a business, she would be the last one you would ever have speak to a customer. Do better.
This place has come a long way since it was acres. Now that's it owned and operated by Sgt. Scrap. Prices are great yard has really been cleaned up 100% highly recommended
Helpful workers.. They help you with separating your scrap metals, so you get paid more! Awesome place to take your scrap... Top $$ paid, honest prices on the scale.
Excellent service, offloaded my whole truck, separated all my copper, brass, AND wires! Also told me ways to make more by separating materials, being open till 5 on Saturday is a huge plus as well!
Too many bad experinces the worst is not able to weight precious metals properly!sevral times i have felt the inexperience! Their whole bussiness is weighing stuff and having said that f is appropriate for rating.
Picked up a car few weeks ago from my house that belong to a friend.took two trucks to load one van on a flatbed.people can not drive or operate their own trucks at all.Ive driven and used all kinds and they couldn't be easier but guess the drivers are as knowledgeable as the people answering the phones.Forget emails cause they don't answer that at all.willnever use them again could've made more by taking to Camden anyway
Best prices around great customer service would never take my scrap any place else and their operator man that guy has skills he could pick ur teeth with that machine and my home girl Michelle she is one of the best girls they got there idk what dude is talking about Sgt scrap is the best by far
The best scrap yard in South Jersey. The yard is very clean, the workers are very friendly and knowledgeable and their prices are always accurate. A+++.
these guys are owned and operated by acres auto parts in trenton NJ and are absolutely useless in helping their customers with making issues right again. I tried to return a part that was no good but was told that i was wrong and at fault . This is no way to treat someone just becasue you dont want to have to give a refund for a part that was defective that you in no way tested.
