I come from Hyderabad and being a good lover you can now guess how much I love a good biryani. This place meets expectations perfectly! I think this is the best Hyderabadi goat biryani in Chicago area. Loved their Fried fish and Haleem as well! Servers are polite and they have plenty of space. I would highly recommend this place to people looking for authentic Hyderabadi biryani. Enjoy and stay safe! Kid-friendliness: Plenty of space! Dietary restrictions: It’s Halal!
Goat biryani was ok, we tried chicken 65, and fish were not authentic Hyderabadi. We also had marg and a Kebab platter, which was just ok.Food: 3/5
I was in Naperville Chicago on a business trip from Toronto Canada. My best friend and brother Benazir, a well known personality, recommended Shaahi Biryani. I tired other Hyderabadi restaurants in Chicago and in Toronto as well. I can conclude there is no restaurant in North America anywhere close to what Shaahi Biryani serves its customers, pure authentic Hyderabadi food with Best Biryani as its name stands for. My friends and I tried Marag, Haleem, butter naan and obviously the special Lamb Biryani. Every Item made me remember Hyderabad. “Fabulous food and excellent service - so lovely to spend an evening at Shaahi Biryani.” The day before leaving Naperville, my colleagues at BMO, for a change asked for a good Indian place to order food. Without hesitation I recommended Shaahi Biryani. We ordered Lamb Biryani 2 Big Tray, Butter Chicken 1 tray, Haleem 1 tray, Chicken 65 1 big tray, Butter Paneer 1 tray, Vegitarian Khorma 1 tray, Mirchi ka Salan 1 tray, Butter Naan and Kubani Ka Meetha. The quality and quantity were outstanding. Delivery was arranged and arrived on time at Naperville Marriott. Everyone enjoyed the food and were surprised to eat authentic Hyderabadi food. I wish to thank everyone involved in the preparation and presentation of our meal. It was exceptional in every way and added so much to our enjoyment. Please pass on my special thanks to all concerned. We will certainly be coming again and order food from Shaahi Biryani for our office events. I personally met and thanked the owner Mr. Shafi, a very refined gentlemen with a strong IT professional background. We will have no hesitation in recommending Shaahi Biryani to all our friends. The only sufficient word I can use to describe our experience is 'magnifique'! Magnificent
This place deserves more than 5 stars. Oh wow, this place is the best Indian Restaurant I have been to so far. I went to a lot of Indian restaurants but Shaahi Biryani is the best place to go. Warm welcome, the The owner is so nice. Definitely, this is my place now. I went here with my wife, we spent $54 with a lot of leftovers. I ended up giving them $10 tips.
Haleem had an aftertaste and had to substitute with lemon to overcome it. Biryani is definitely not to the level of authentic Hyderabadi flavors. It's more cost-effective to order individually instead of a family pack due to a lack of quantity. Very nice place well lit and decorated. Thanks to the owners for serving Zabihah Halal food. They are also HMS certified.
Not sure why they have 3.9 starts only, the place is full of flavorful food!! I tried their goat Nihari and it was cooked to perfection with meat falling off of bones. The chicken biryani was fresh and clean in taste. Watch out for the size of deserts, we asked for a plate or gulab jamun and it has 8 pieces! Given them a try, they won’t disappoint. It’s not a very fancy or expensive place but food is great
It is a very nice place to dine in. Food is delicious and super flavorful. We ordered "Pathar ka gosht" and absolutely loved it. Ordered some more to go. Br. Tahir was amazing and very helpful! Impeccable service with great food!Food: 5/5

I’ve been driving past this place for over 10 years and I finally tried it out it did not disappoint! The food was amazing and the owner I presume was very nice. I went in there to try them out but didn’t notice they were closed they still had a few people eating and sitting at the tables the owner informed me that they were unfortunately closed and I couldn’t sit inside and eat, but the owner still offered a platter to go! Which I opted for the Goat Biryani, it was absolutely delicious. The rice was amazing and the goat was even better. When I went to pay I went to pay with cash. The total was a little over $45 and the owner just asked for $40 and said the rest was ok. I really appreciate the amazing gratitude and kindness from the owner and his establishment. This was the first time but definitely will not be the last time I will be here
The biryani was simply phenomenal - perfectly cooked, with a delicious blend of spices and tender, succulent meat. Every bite was packed with flavor and left me craving more. I learned that Shaahi Biryani also caters for functions and parties. I can imagine that their delicious food and impeccable service would make any event truly special.
