The whole team at Shadowbrook, from communication with Mark the owner, Stephanie who helped us plan every last detail of our unforgettable day, to our Maitre D and their team that kept the entire day on track and did everything in their power to make sure we had nothing to worry about or stress was ABOVE AND BEYOND. The attention to detail, the quality of the service, the amazing food which all of our friends and family still talk about 1 year later just completely blew us away. That is before you even discuss the beauty of the property and the building and its new renovations, the Salon for the bride and her friends and family to get ready in is an experience that is a MUST have. If you haven't experienced a wedding at Shadowbrook you haven't truly experienced the best wedding you may ever experience. We are forever grateful to Mark and everyone on his team for making it the best day of our lives.
All I have to say is Wow Wow Wow. My daughter got married last Friday. The service, the venue, the food was off the charts. The premises was magical. The organization of the wedding was great. It was run on time and very organized. I cannot say enough good things about this venue. If you’re thinking about having a wedding, go straight to shadow Brook, Five star and above.
If you want to have the best wedding experience possible for both you and your spouse and your guests, this is where you will have your wedding. I just got married at the shadowbrook this weekend, and just wow. I had high expectations and the entire shadowbrook staff exceeded those expectations. Thorough, timely, professional, positive demeanors, energetic, showed integrity, were humorous, patient, I could go on and on with every good adjective in the dictionary. Our maître d’, bridal attendant, salon attendants and seriously the entire staff I really don’t want to miss anybody were completely phenomenal. The food and service provided at the shadowbrook is unlike any other venue I’ve ever experienced or heard of. You are given the royal treatment. They have truly perfected the service industry as an art. As soon as a cocktail glass was empty and needed to be refilled or shattered and needed to be swept up, it was done immediately. You never had to look for your server because they were already looking for you, THAT was the difference. I also highly recommend upgrading your cocktail hour to add on the seafood extravaganza package, it was such a focal point and your guests will thank you for it. One of many really nice touches was that my parents and my husbands parents were given their own attendant that took care of them ALL night long. They were able to mingle all night long. My bridesmaids and I got ready in the salon in the morning — highly HIGHLY recommend. I couldn’t have imagined a better morning for the girls and I. I couldn’t have imagined a better wedding experience for us if I tried. Choosing the shadowbrook was one of the best decisions we’ve made and we can’t wait to come back and be guests ASAP.
Most amazing wedding venue I have ever attended. Beautiful grounds and building, ladies room luxurious. Food amazing. Cocktail hour had 8 or 9 stations and included prime rib, lobster. Everything was delicious. Staff were very attentive.
Photographed an incredible wedding here this summer, and I highly recommend this incredible venue! The staff was so responsive - able to adapt to changes throughout the day and were readily available for the couple and vendors alike.
My husband and I had the most amazing wedding night, without a worry in the world, all because we had our wedding at the Shadowbrook at Shrewsbury. Everything is absolutely stunning and every single staff member is remarkable. We got ready in the salon, and it was worth every penny. The attendants took such good care of us, we had everything we needed breakfast, lunch, drinks, steamer, even crazy glue, one of my bridesmaids even thanked me for letting her be a part of this great experience. HUGE thank you to Dan, Corrine, and Carl for all they did the day of to make sure we had the time of our lives and for listening to our vision and executing it flawlessly, and to Marc for answering every single one of my emails with a personal phone call, and to all of the waitstaff and bartenders for being so attentive and caring with our guests. Since our wedding, we keep hearing the same feedback: 1. every bite of food they ate was phenomenal, 2. the staff was unbelievable and 3. every single aspect of the venue and its ambience was gorgeous. As the bride and groom, we wholeheartedly agree with all of those statements. If you have the opportunity to get married at the Shadowbrook, from one bride to another... BOOK IT!
Best place ever to have your event specialy wedding. My sister had her wedding two weeks ago, and it was amazingly unforgettable. The staff was so professional and nice. The food, ooooommmmmggggg. The service is the top. Go there and you will be more then satisfied. Big thanks to Marc
Shadowbrook could have 10’stars if they were available. It isnt just a stunningly beautiful venue, as in not just another pretty face. From the valet staff to the greeters, bartenders, waitstaff, and matre’d, we were all treated like beloved family. The cocktails and food stations at the cocktail hour were magnificent. I’m still amazed at the number of staff who attended to us, how courteous and friendly everyone was. Our head waiter, matre’d at table 8 was attentive, patient, accommodating, friendly and efficient. Dinner was fabulous. I know a tremendous amount of planning took place to bring this wedding about on 12/30, and it was executed to my guest’s eye, perfectly. Thank you for making my nephew’s and now my niece’s wedding so memorable.
My Wife and I just got married at Shadowbrook on 07-24-22. From the moment we walked through those doors when visiting for the first time we were amazed. Arlinda, the sales rep gave us the best tour, proving us with history of the venue and an insight of how our special day would be. Mark- one of the owners, was so responsive during the wedding planning process and his assurance made us feel at ease during the stressful wedding planning months. Stephanie was also super helpful as we were getting close to the wedding day. Now for our special day, words can’t express how happy and content we were with the venue! We truly felt like royalty from the second we stepped foot on the property. The Shadowbrook offered not only some of the best food but also sensational and phenomenal service. My Wife and I still have family & friends calling us raving about the delicious cocktail hour and how they never saw so much food in their lives. Our bridal attendant, Gianna, was fantastic, providing my wife and I with everything we needed the entire day. The Maitre d’ and entire waitstaff was on their A game, focusing so much attention on our guests by filling cocktails quickly and providing stellar 5 star service. Our guest even noted the service to us that’s how on point it was. The attention to detail this venue offers is unbelievable. Also the venue itself is just absolutely BEAUTIFUL, the recent renovation was truly done right. The art deco decor is elegant, classy, and timeless. We highly highly recommend for any couples looking for a wedding venue to not have any doubt at all and to book the Shadowbrook. This place is a gem and very well run. We have both been to many weddings but no other place can top the quality service, food, & beauty you will receive here. Thank you so much to the number 1 venue in NJ for giving us the most amazing wedding, a day we won’t ever forget as well as our guest. We Can’t wait to hopefully be back as guests one day.
Shadowbrook completely exceed all expectations. From the moment you enter the front gates they treated us like royalty. The bridal assistant Corrine and maitre d' Phillip had the night run so seamlessly. Our guest kept raving about how the service was impeccable and it was the best wedding they have ever been too. The food was so over the top and amazing. Literally everything I ate was AMAZING and I tried everything. People keep asking us about the lobster tails pastries and where they are from. And the lamb chops at cocktail hour were another crowd favorite. In addition to the casamigo shooters and caviar with chilled vodka station. We got married before Christmas and they had it decorated sooo beautifully that multiple people told us they are using those photos for Christmas cards. It was the best day of my life and I would relive it 100 times over. Additionally, Marc and Stephanie were super helpful throughout the entire process of planning and helped calm all bridal nerves, stress and anxiety. They both were super responsive, easy going and great to work with plus they had everything so organized. We did theatrical lighting package and the dancing on clouds. I would highly recommend the theatrical lighting - I was a complete game changer in the room and definitely added to the entire atmosphere.
