Pleasant evening watching our grandsons game play for the purple & gold "Greenfield" team! Against Leesburg Ohio, "Pony League" boys! Shout out to Staffer Park in Hillsboro Ohio. Great place for all ages to gather. Note: May contemplate expanding the parking lot, building a parking deck or possibly a shuttle from Liberty Park parking lot, because "HUGE CROWDS" gather here for all the fun. Otherwise fantastic! Restrooms: Well maintained ballfields for all ages. Concession stand. Restrooms. Covered bleacher seating. Wheelchair & Walker friendly. Night lights. Close to fast food locations.
I always loved to play on there field,never a bad day at the ball park!however you are not allowed on the fields unless game or practice. So how are the kids supposed to get better? Like taking ground balls and pitching? I do not like that about Shaffer, and kids can't get better unless they are working.

Used to be really nice park, but now there was trash laying all over the place and dangerous fencing with rust everywhere! Needs some TLC.
Very nice ballpark and clean facilities
Great place to play, fun, clean, great workers. Wonderful grounds crew probably the best people to work on a field in the greater area always makes sure it is playable no matter what weather. Very hard working. The man that runs the ball park is a nice guy and you can tell, also very hard working. The umpires are fun and generous but they are in a business manner.
Wish the parking was better.

The facility was nice.BUT the manner in which this tournament was handled was shameful! The lack of respect for the well being of players safety was shocking. We will never return to play ball at this facility based on our experience as a team during the 2018 tournament games.
