I called from Toronto, Ontario to do a welfare check on my friend, and in less than 3 minutes, they were on their way to her address... Polite, pleasant and very respectful, they operators I spoke with provided a very positive responose to my request
With the situation I put the Shaker Heights Police Department in. I must say that from the beginning and to the end of it all. They literally treated me like they grown up with me or maybe even known me. Shoutout to the night shift crew from me and mine seriously I appreciate you all.
There is a viral video going around about the police department and the police about them running over kids on bicycles or at least trying to this Police department is corrupt and we need reform on this department and I called the police department on the video and they are trying to say that it did not happen if it didn't happen then why is it on video check it out
Very spacious police cars, seat was a little hard though but the officer and I had a great conversation on the way to the station which took my mind off the seat. 10/10 would be arrested by them again
I came in last night to have my headlights checked and they would not check them I come in this morning and the guy was so sweet he took care of me in less than five minutes and I waited yesterday maybe two hours but they were trying their best which it was okay I just didn't want to come back down here first thing in the morning but as I did the guy was so sweet I have no choice but to write a review only because there is some people that do good
They only pay attantion to small potatos, like 2 miles over the speed limit or didn't properly stopped at the stop sign, or lights are not working. By the way, I was hit by a car twice in this area at a pedastrian intersection, where cars should stop! But none of them even tried to do anything about it! Shame, shame, shame...
Very rude and unreasonable. Give tickets for no reason!! Watch out towards the end of every month lol they're thirsty!!
I am extremely disappointed and angered about an event that happened a little bit ago in our "great" community... A couple days ago I was released from the hospital after having major surgery. Today, I decided to venture out for the first time to pick up my car from my parents house. My car has been parked in my parents driveway for well over a week and they literally live 5 minutes away from me. I took an uber to their house and only planned to be out for a few minutes so that I could take my pain medicine once I returned. As I drove back home I was pulled over by the Shaker Police Officer #83 . I didn't understand because I knew I followed the traffic laws on my brief trip out. As the officer approached my car , I asked him why he pulled me over. He told my one of my lights were out in the back... I explained to him that I had no idea and that I had recently undergone major surgery and hadn't had my car in well over a week 12 days. I explained to him that I couldn't be out long and was in pain. I even went as far to show him the incisions and bandaging on my stomach. He didn't care and still took his sweet time writing me an equipment violation ticket as I sat in pain. I told him I'm only allowed to be out and about for a little bit and can't drive to a dealership to get it fixed right now and that going to the dealership , getting my car fixed , and then driving to the police station was way more than I can medically/physically do right now..... again he didn't care and told me I had 6 days to fix it or I would have to pay a fine and appear in court. I'm a resident of 13 years and am so disgusted by this entire incident. Shaker has some of the highest taxes in the state and they are currently asking us for another increase! To know that our tax money is spent on uncaring police officers is appalling!!! Shame on you officer #83!!!!
Had an wonderful time some of my school members got to be on a Field trip to see what y’all do everyday as a police and see what you work with weapons and cars n etc. We got to look around the department somewhat lol. I honestly can’t wait to become an officer I hope I do because seeing what you guys do it’s so awesome makes me wanna be an officer more. If I do become an officer I wanna be a shaker heights officer and I’ll probably work my self up to become and officer.
This police department is by far the WORST!!!!!!!! I called and asked about a “no parking from 2am-6am ticket” that my boyfriend received. I was unaware of the sign because there is another sign in front of my building stating that there is “no parking between 7am-9am” he has been parking there before as well as others and never received a ticket. I called and talked to a police officer and he told me there was nothing he could do, he told me that they got lucky for not receiving tickets before. My whole thing is if there is no parking from 2am-6am then the WHOLE street needs to have those signs NOT PART OF THE STREET, that doesn’t make any sense.
