Was told he negotiated a PBJ, and 4 years later I tried to get my Maryland HQL and was told I could not, because it was a guilty plea and not a PBJ. I got another attorney, Robert Bonsib, to look into it and he said that it wasn't a PBJ and a motion for reconsideration wasn't filed in time. Gun rights gone forever over a crime I didnt do but just plead out thinking it was PBJ.

Mr. Shakur is top notch defense lawyer.  I retained his services for two traffic violations and I could not have been happier with the excellent service that he provided.  I explained what outcome I was expecting to receive and he was able to deliver.  I highly recommend Mr. Shakur to anyone who needs an excellent  traffic attorney.

Best Attorney in State of Maryland. Traffic offenses,  criminal offenses,  and domestic.  Will put 120% effort into every case, and will work endless hours to ensure justice on your behalf. Malik has been advising me since 2002.

Very unprofessional. Mr. Shakur never returns calls or emails. His receptionist is rude and doesn’t take the matters at hand seriously. I opened my case with this office in July 2019. It is 02/2020 and still no update. When I complained about it , I received a packet in the mail telling me they wouldn’t represent me anymore. After 7 months of having my case and not doing anything. I called twice a month with no return call or email. When I said I would call the board of ethics, he stopped working my case. Wasting 7 months of my time. He didn’t take my case serious , because to them it was a small fender bender. I have been out of work for months now. I do not recommend this law office  at all.

No fines, no points. The man knows his craft. Would highly recommend
