The food sucks. Other than that is an ok place.Rooms: 4/5
They offer 3 meals a day including a sacked lunch if you need one. Breakfast is always on time and very good. They offer free laundry service. My clothes get washed every week for free!!! The staff is excellent and very customer oriented. I feel at home here and the neighborhood is clean and my vehicle is safe in a well lit parking lot. They even have given me rides to and from the airport in the middle of the night so I could catch the early flight out of Hobbs. Oh and spacious rooms with comfortable beds and satellite tv. If you want to get the most out of your money then this is the place.
Considering the price and ammenities, this place is absolutely worth the price. For example, by signing up for lunch to go which changes by the day, they will have your lunch ready for pick up the following morning. Or there's the breakfast and dinner they serve which also consistently changes to keep your taste buds guessing what will be available the next day. Which is included in the price by the way. Furthermore, they have a clothes hamper for you to leave your laundry. If you bring it to the front office, they will do your laundry. What other location will do that for you? When you include the parking and vicinity to everything in town, it really adds to the value you are getting. To make things even better, the staff makes you feel at home by knowing your name and really trying to make you feel at home. I absolutely recommend this place if you're going to be in the area for any decent amount of time.
This place always makes me feel good, because they care about the cleaning, the laundry, that you don't go on an empty stomach. It's a great place to be instead of those hotels with a big front office and small rooms with no services, yeah, you know from who I am talking about hotels. And keep in mind, we came to work, is not a vacation.
As man camps go, shale Lodge is alright. The food isn't stellar, but they'll feed you. And the laundry service is good. The people at the front desk are super nice, really take care of you as much as possible.
I was going to get a room, but they only cater to Oil field workers and Transport drivers. I am a pilot car and wanted a place to sleep. She told me she was sorry that they don't really rent to regular folk like me. I told her I was escorting oversize loads , but I suppose she didnt know what that was. She asked me to give her my # and the manager might call me back I told her that's alot of trouble for a room, and that's ok.
Cleaning staff were absolutely wonderful, their food is not for me and the Wi-Fi was down 3 out of the 4 weeks I was there. It's virtually a man camp would not recommend for single females.
It's a good place to stay. Located within the town in a clean environment. But you have to pay for laundry
This place is pretty damn nice, compared to many other hotels I've stayed at while traveling for work.I would recommend this place just after my first night here.
Half the doors to the rooms don't close all the way. The WIFI lags and if u are hungry they have food but no options, you get whatever is made.
