Shari's Cafe and Pies

First of all I ordered my food to be delivered. I only live less than 5 minutes away and our food arrived cold everything was cold. I ordered biscuits and gravy they put the gravy in a separate bowl, I got four biscuits and a very little gravy not enough 4 biscuits. I ordered the pioneers platter for my son which is supposed to be a little bit of everything and in the description it says chicken tenders so basically that means more than one. Well we only got one tender very little fries and 3 of the other two items. How they portion out the food is inconsistent. I called and complained about the platter and she says there's only supposed to be one tender well then you need to say that in your description say one tender but all she could say was sorry. I haven't ordered food from here in years and now I remember why I was very disappointed. They're only good for their pies not their food. That's why I gave it a two-star rating because of the slice of pie that I ordered.

First of all my family and I went this Sunday to dine In and were put on a waiting list and were told they would give us a call when our table was ready. They said about 20 minutes. We went for a walk at a nearby strip mall and were there for over a half hour to check on what was going on with a table. Only to find people that came In after us being seated in front of us. When we confronted the staff about it we were given attitude. I ordered a hot sandwich which was served cold and when I asked them to fix it which just became a whole other problem with them. I will never eat here again nor would I recommend anyone to eat here. I would recommend hiring more professional staff members and concentrating on exceptional guest service. The waitress definitely has a lot to learn about taking down orders. Super disappointed

Ordered on Door Dashers a few nights ago. Prime rib French dip. The meat tasted old. No horseradish as it said, the only thing that was good was the pie. The next night I ordered a breakfast and waited for an hour and 1/2. I called them and the woman was very rude, we quit the delivery orders at 8:00. By then it was last like 8:30. Needless to say I had a bowl of soup for dinner. Never again!

The food is really good and there are a lot of options. The service is pretty good but my last visit took away a star. I would have given it 5 but when I was there with my husband last, it took at least 10-15 minutes for us to get seated. When we first arrived, we were told that the server would be right with us. While waiting, another lady came in behind us asking about an event she was supposed to be at in the banquet hall, and instead of telling us anything or trying to get us seated, the server started helping the lady while we still waited. Then people who finished their meals would go to pay, and still without saying anything to us, cashed them out. This happened twice during our wait. Not a word was said to us. Another couple had given up waiting behind us and left. It wasn't too busy and even if they were short handed, something could have been said to us; an apology or explanation as to why it was taking so long, but we were completely ignored for those 10-15 minutes aside from when we first arrived and when we finally got seated. While we dined the service was great, just please communicate with waiting customers if getting them seated is taking longer than usual.

Disappointing, embarrassed I brought my family there. We walked in, were told to wait outside for three minutes even though there were plenty of tables open. We waited outside for twenty minutes, sat down and waited another ten minutes to order. Our food took over another thirty minutes to get to us. It wasn't busy in the restaurant, even for a Sunday lunch. It was lukewarm when we got the food, and burnt in some places. Was not tasteful, very lazy-made. Eggs were undercooked and watery. Service was absolutely poor, they kept talking to each other instead of working. Tables are very small and cramped, not for plus sizes. We never got our refills after service said we would get them. There were flies everywhere as well. They constantly have job openings but I can see why. Will not be going back there again, shame, because it USED to be a wonderful place. EDIT: It's also STUPIDLY EXPENSIVE.

Steak was very good. Properly cooked as requested and very tender. Rolls are a surprise treat; amazingly tender. Pies here are first rate: I had the Blueberry Lemon Sour Cream. It's a great combination lemony without being too stick or acid, and very light. Service was excellent.

Took over an hour to get our food ordered. Also, never had a refill of our waters or drinks. We asked for lemon for the salmon 3 times and never got it. One of the top 3 worst services I’ve had in my lifetime. I’ve been here before and it was never this terrible!

Hostess wasn't on the ball at all with A kind of rudeness took over an hour to get a steak and scampi and the steak was ordered medium and came out like a leather wallet

It was great loved the service Kristie H was the the greatest so friendly got our food in a timely manor.
