We love our time at Block Brewing. I love that the patio is so spacious and clean. The service was friendly and quick. Food was delicious. We ordered bbq pick 3 sampler of brisket, pulled pork & baby back ribs with corn bread, Mac n cheese and hand cut fries also cheese pizza. Meat was cooked well, tender and flavorful. We will definitely come back again!
My husband and I were driving from the east side of the state back home to the west side and we happened upon this brewery. Sample a couple of beers and they were delicious, smooth and consistent. I ended up drinking a salted caramel porter and my husband had the red ale. We split the pulled chicken sandwich and had fries with it. The food was really good and I thought their house made barbecue sauce was amazing! It's nice and hardy. Not sweet at all. The service was good and the patrons were really nice and helpful as well. You got to try the beer in this place. It's really good!
Stopped in to grab lunch, and wasn't disappointed. I ordered the Block Burger. Cooked to perfection. Bacon was good and thick, the brisket was smokey and delicious. The side of Mac and cheese was a great compliment. Ordered a side of fries as well and dipped them with the signature sauces, all which were tasty. Hope to make it back there again this year.
Stopped after a hectic morning. Great spinach dip, burgers, onion rings & sweet potato fries. Great service-she was friendly and service was quick. Great music, great atmosphere. Won enough on a Keno ticket to buy our lunch! Changed our whole day. We will definitely be back next time we cross the state in November.
Stopped in to catch up with a friend of mine from out of town. Sat at the bar. Watched some soccer and enjoyed the company. Had some appetizers Pretzals and bowl of Crab Soup. Both were hot and really good. Beer was cold and good. Will come back when in the area. In the Hop Passport book. Look it up.
Moose sweat was good, Cherry bomb. Meat lovers pizza was not very good. Brisket meal wasn't worth the money. Mac bowl had 2 much stuff could not taste the mac.
I enjoy the food here and always great service. I wish the menu would expand a bit and the prices have definitely creeped up more than I expected. I recommend the mac and cheese, pulled pork nachos, and pepper jack crab soup.
Fantastic experience on a Sunday afternoon! I feel much more comfortable doing outdoor dining and they accommodated by seating my family on the patio. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. The food came fast. I loved the House barbecue sauce. This was one of the best sit-down dining experiences I’ve had since the start of the pandemic. Great job!
Great local spot. The atmosphere was perfect and the staff was full of hospitality. They have a great beer selection to start off your meal. Most importantly, the food was incredible you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. If you’re there with the family go with the “ Block Party”. Also, Sweet potato fries are delicious. Finally- I want to give a big shout out to Andrea. She is a wonderful server.
I have been to the Block Brewery in Howell, Michigan at least 9-10 times this summer. Their food is outstanding. They had a few weeks there were they were having staffing issues but once they got that situated the service has been great. The drinks are always spot on…my husband always loves their beer. I love their brisket, it’s alway tender and moist. I’m from the south and it’s as good as any brisket I’ve had in Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky or Texas. Their sauces are the bomb. My son will not order anything but their turkey and immediately comes home and falls asleep, best cure for insomnia. My husband and daughter love their salads. This place is a definite winner, something for everyone!
