Sharp Ave Elementary School

i came to this school when i was younger and sadly never had the chance to finish because i moved but from what i remember i absolutely loved it. i have so many memories that im never going to forget. i am now a sophomore in high school and till this very day i still remember Mrs.Lopez who i believe was my kindergarten teacher and Mrs. Maggie who was the after school teacher and now has twins? They were both very lovely people from what i remember. I have so many good memories that ill never forget and hopefully one day i can come back to visit.

Could be so much better. The teachers and staff are heartless, rude, lazy and technologically behind. Minus a very few. All they care about is themselves. Although the office staff has gotten better. Plus the school is so run down, it's horrible. It looks like a jail or institution. No feel of pride around. Nothing motivating for kids around the school nor office. Staff looks so emotionless. No one looks up to say hello....it's just sad. Special education classes/program there is terrible! They need an update. More training on their teaching methods. To accommodate different learning types. Not all kids learn in the same way. Especially SpEd.

I went to this school as a kid and it has changed its way better. My 2nd grade teacher is still there haha I luv it my daughter goes there now the teachers are friendly and so is the staff I haven't heard anything rude about them . It's a good school.

I am in 5 grade I will be going to 6 in a couple of months so far it is a good school since kindergarten-fifth it has been awesome you should definitely go to this elementary The teachers are great And education is great too Andrew A was here

I have been an employee here for six years. Pleasant atmosphere, even though some people might not agree. As for the comment below me, well, it doesn't phase me. May God Bless her!!!

Not even one star. They only have one after school program. The principal shows like she doesn't care. Had to take my kid out this school because he kept on getting bullied and was not taken seriously.

Lol, graduated from here in 1984. I remember Mrs. Kumas, Mrs. Prebble, Mr. Goldberg and the principal, Mr. French. Crazy how time flies.

School is great... principal on the other hand not so much!
