I have had several different dishes here and enjoyed all. My favorite thing to get is the "mini meal" - so cheap and you can get all this food: curry, rice, bread, daal soup, and chips, as well as dessert. I love their samosas; they are big, crispy, and always delicious. They are quite fast with service and there is also space to sit and dine if you like to.

The restaurant is under new management now. The owner is chef as well, I ordered masala dosa and papri chat, the taste was spot on and delicious. The only thing that got 4 stars is the amount of time it took to take and get the orders. Taste wise 5 stars

Don't ever order Dahi Puri. It's just loot... No coriander/cilantro on top of Dahi Puri... Found ONLY ONE chickpea inside each Puri. Totally not worth for $5.99.. Chef should learn how to make Dahi Puri.

Absolutely the worst service ever! At first, they ask you to pay immediately after placing your order. So I had no idea how good will be the service, I gave $2 of tip! However, there was no service at all! Indeed, there was no server in the restaurant. I requested water and lemon fo drink they didn’t give me anything.Then I asked again and cashier showed a place with small plastic cups and told me that I can get water from that corner. After, taking the water by myself, I asked for second time to gave me lemon. She finally brought some lemon! And surprisingly, when I double check my recipe, I found out that I had been charged $1 for the lemons!

Service took forever. 1.50 for barely any naan bread. Food is awful would not recommend to anyone ever. They have changed their service from before and now it is awful.

We've been loyal patrons of this place for years even through the change in ownership. The short truth is that the food here is outstanding, but the service if you are eating-in is very, very slow. However, you won't find better Indian food anywhere else in the area, especially if you like anything above mild spice. Thus, I recommend the take out. You won't be sorry. Only eat in the shop if you have 2 hours to spare and want to enjoy the atmosphere of a busy college town.

The joint has very good Indian and Indo-Chinese food. But you need to be very clear while specifying the spice level, or you could end up with extremely hot food. Most of the food comes in extremely generous portions; 2 orders are sufficient for 3 people looking for a good meal. But a few things bring the ratings down - the service is woefully slow and there seems to be just the one server at the front of the restaurant. There's also that annoying door that just wont close all the way! It was snowing the evening we decided to visit and every time someone walked in, a blast of cold air hit us. The store owners need to fix the door and the service issue in order to improve the meal experience for all of us!!

Average prices, slightly more expensive than other places around. The service is really slow though and it takes a long time to cook the food. Chicken biryani is good though, and they have a lot of spice which is good if you like that.

Let me begin by saying that I absolutely love the food here. It is one of the most authentic Indian food places in town. But whenever my friends and I try to come here for lunch, they are not open! I called yesterday evening to confirm that they were going to be open at 1PM this afternoon. But when we got there at 1:10PM today, the doors we locked and no staff inside. In fact, from what we could see through the front door, even the kitchen light did not seem turned on! Please share you actual hours with the customers...

Awesome food. Everything I tasted I either liked or loved. Especially the Mutter pea Paneer cottage cheese like thing. They use fresh peas which are a lot more expensive than frozen and you can definitely taste the difference. Anyone who dislikes peas has never had fresh ones. OH they BURST in your mouth with sweetness! And they are not stingy with the stuff either, lots and LOTS of peas. give peas a chance The manager even gave us a free full size sample 6-8oz container of garbanzo curry thingy because it was our first time and seemed to have fun watching us enjoy his culture's food so much. He takes GREAT PRIDE in his food, I can tell. I will definitely be coming back for more. This time I will save room for dessert.
