A unique Art space in Downtown Rapid City specializing in cultivating a creative community through the arts.
Shaviq is a gallery filled with the works of 80 South Dakota artists, and is a working studio space for 2 artists, myself, Shawn Wilson, and Lalenia Siefert.
The gallery welcomes many art forms including trash art, authors and musicians. Artists are a passionate expressive bunch, so it seemed fitting to offer vintage attire, shoes and jewelry as well. With a personal love of things old and dusty, I also have a small selection of antiques.
Shaviq Boutique and Art Gallery is focused upon building community through art and connection. Nestled in the Black Hills of South Dakota we feature over 60 local artists in a variety of works displayed in our gallery. We’ve transformed The Wilson Room to be a place of creative play for all ages and abilities, hosting art classes and parties, live music performances, and a blank canvas for any rental needs. Whether you are brand new to art or a deepening your skill set, we’re excited to share this art experience together.
