It's on my way to work, so I would stop here fairly regularly, just to pick up a few things. But they no longer have express lines, and they'll only have one register open, sometimes two. I keep finding myself in lines behind people with full carriages of groceries. I'll wait for a few minutes, but the lines move slow and just get longer. The employees are all doing other things, not paying attention. I usually end up abandoning my basket of groceries and walking out. If you can't have an employee check me out, you can have an employee put my groceries back.
Loved this place. it was clean; wide display of items and has friendly staff. I never for got the day I talked to a lady in the shop 1st Feb 2004 about the pretty flowers she was buying. I left the shop with my food. As i was getting in the car she came up to me and gave me the flowers. She said to me you should have these. Well i got home and the phone rang. My mom called from over seas telling me my favourite aunt had died finually of cancer. I had always picked wild flowers on a country road as a wee girl when visiting her. A day I will never forget thanks to that sweet kind American lady who happened to be at the supermarket the same day as me.
Nice and clean. Options were good at bakery, produce, deli or meat section.
I wish they had freshly made pastries, like the small Shaws's in Brookline on Beacon Street. Otherwise, it's very spacious and has a pretty good assortment. Also, I wish they had more organic fruits and veggies. All in all is good. NO lines! Awesome!
Stopped in to buy Pureleaf unsweetened tea only to find an empty shelf. Plenty of flavored and sweet tea but no unsweetened. Update: saw response from owner but unclear directions don’t allow me to respond. Please provide a URL if you want more info. I think the post is clear. That product must be popular and was sold out and not restocked when we got there. Neither size bottles it comes in were on the shelves for them. Went to another store to purchase.
I've never seen a place so unprofessional the old guys in the meat department are so rude
The prices. If it's not on sale it's a good place to go broke. But they do have a very clean store and when you buy sale items you get a decent deal. Friendly employees. I give the people all 5 stars.
Been coming here since I was a kid, love how they've updated it and increased the selection. Reasonable prices and friendly staff!
Honestly could not ask for a better shopping experience. Our tour guide Teddy was the perfect mix of knowledgeable and handsome. Be sure to stop by the produce isle!
Checkers are incredibly slow. They don't turn lights on so you think they are closing but, no, they aren't. The self checkout machines are first generation and they put the paper bags on the platform so every time you remove a bag the software thinks you removed something and throws a warning. The store has a great selection. The staff is not very friendly.
