Management doesn't care about the customers at all. They have no one that can run the bottle machine one bit. I'll fix it if it gyms the bathrooms are dirty. The bottle rooms are dirty. The aisles are dirty. The milk shelves are dirty. They egg shells are dirty that some of the produce shelves are dirty. The border health will be called tomorrow Wednesday in the deli, shelves and glass tops and corporate also will be called tomorrow to be sneak attack shoppers. I don't want to be that stuff managed. He's probably going to get fired on the spot
This is a great Shaw's Market has quite everything you will need in an organized fashion but the bakery is my place of interest with my sweet tooth freshly baked goods great variety and the person that works there Attie is so friendly so sweet and accommodating she seems to keep the place going and keeps people smiling and laughing but all in all it's a great clean Market reasonably priced thank you Shaw's I recommend this location
Average grocery store, selection is decent, fruits and vegetables are ordinary. This place is not bad but not great.... Just average - which is okay!
I stopped by around 7:30AM this morning10/25 after dropping off my daughter at her school. I went to the self checkout section as usual. I saw a closed sign at the entrance but was reluctant to go to the regular checkout line since the lady there always looked upset. I saw a blond old lady was fixing a checkout terminal and decided to stand there for a few minutes in case she might fix it soon. The lady looked at me and started yelling at me. "It's closed. Don't you see the sign?". I have no reason to start my day like this. I told her you don't have to respond to me in that way. She put her finger in her mouth and asked me to be quiet. I told her you are the one who first yelled at me. Then she turned against me and made some body gestures that looked extremely unprofessional. Two old ladies joined later and told me that she wasn't yelling. How do they know? What a group!!! I told the old lady you shouldn't work here if you don't want to deal with customers. She said you won't see me next time you come here. Shaw's need to educate their employees better. These people need to learn from the employees at the Trader Joe's.
I'm not a huge fan of this Shaw's store to be honest. It's tiny, the meat selection, frozen foods ice cream especially and soda selection is minimal. If you're looking for any special flavors of things, you're going to the wrong place. Plus, they're ridiculously expensive. Obviously good in a pinch, but I'm a Stop and Shop girl anyway so maybe I'm biased...
If you don’t to the store at the first day of the sale the odds of getting those items slim . Go to the customer service desk and the used to give a rain check no problem. Now they say come back the next day or Monday and will not issue a rain check. This is one of the reasons I will take the time to drive Market Basket! Plus sick of having to put the special prices into account to get sale prices. It’s 2022 it should just go though when I enter my phone number. Shaws keep giving more reasons to shop the competitors!
Once again I got caught at the register with the price coming up higher than the sale sticker on the shelf. So I go back and check and BINGO the items above the sticker are not the product listed on the tag. This is not the first time this has happened to me. I told the associate at the front and he told me to go tell the service desk, so now I work there. Be careful and always look at the item vs the tag. The last time this happened the manager told me well people don't put stuff back in the right place. I can agree if it's a one-off but when you have several of the same items I'm thinking the store is facing the self incorrectly.
Store is expensive. Advertised spend $75 on groceries and get $30 off 1st curbside pick up. Did not get credit . Then after no credit showing after 7 days I called and because it was the 8th day they said I had to contact before 7th day so no credit. I checked on order and my previous chat onscreen notes and this was not stated anywhere. This. I may have lost $30 but they lose way more as my family and friends stopped shopping at Shaw's. Good store. Missing some items on my list. The problem with this one was it was crowded. Took me about 20 minutes to get through the deli. Checkout wasn't bad though. About 5min.
Very small store. Haven't been to Shaw's in a while & OMG they are so expensive now!!! I go to Market Basket all the time because their prices are very cheap & reasonable, but I happened to be with my daughter & we stopped at Shaw's near her house. Won't be going back. Still remain a Market Basket fan.
