We went here for dinner while out camping in Shawnee, we wanted to go somewhere to drink and this place was close. The food was pretty good, I'd give it a 4 star if just rating the food, but the service was despicable. The waitress was nice, she seated us, took our drink orders immediately then quickly came back and got our food orders. The food came out quickly. I had finished my drink with the appetizer and asked for another drink when our food came out. She then sat 2 additional groups, took their drink orders, brought out THEIR drinks, then took each of their food orders before bringing me my drink with our check. This all occurred for 25 or more minutes after I had asked for the refill. It was pointless to have gone there for drinks as serving them as they were ordered was not the priority. And the worst part was I was never brought a water, so I ate the whole dinner portion with no drink. The service in this situation is the result of this rating. As I said, I would've rated the food a 4 star, and if the service would've been excellent I would've given 5 stars. But the experience was not a good one, unfortunately...
Great Place to eat... Great Fish! We Rarely ever miss getting the Friday special of all you can eat delicious catfish dinner... great breakfast! Great Pizza! Great burgers!! Very friendly atmosphere. The outdoor area is very nice.
This is the worse place to go!!! If the owner doesn't like you she will give 2 of her 7 day a week drunks free beer to give that person a hard time. She did this to me on 2/11/17. If u want a great place to go try Sweetwater in Golconda its a great place
Had the fish fillet platter on Thursday very tasty and friendly service. Went back Friday on horseback from Bear branch campground. Had a great time, met some new friends..thanks Paulette
Great little place. We went on a weekday morning and the place was slow. We were the only customers in the place. The food was good. Nice big portions of delicious diner type food.
Resturant is NOT open on Sunday, the sign advertising it, and the website says it is open 7 days a week but the restaurant is still closed sunday. If hiking through, you will be disappointed if you planned a stop here on sunday.
We always go here when we're hunting turkeys in the spring or deer in Nov. We love this place! Always good food, good times and cold beer!
