Shelby County Schools (SCS) is the largest public school district in Tennessee and the 22nd largest public school district in the nation. Our work is rooted in the belief that effective teachers and school leaders make the greatest impact on student achievement. Our schools provide a rigorous and engaging curriculum to support the Superintendent's ambitious strategic goals for college and career readiness. We believe that empowering parents and stakeholders to be involved in the education of our students will make our entire community stronger.
