THEE perfect pit stop. There was a tall slender brown headed young man that greeted us when we walked in and told us goodbye when we were walking out. I myself, work in customer service everyone hates that line but this young man impressed me very much. The establishment was clean, bathrooms were clean, wide variety of deli products. You can use grub hub to deliver to you. We didn't get a sandwich, but they had a huge variety and they all looked good. I wish on all our travels, which are a lot, we had a Goose Creek everywhere that we went.
Nice place to stop for a while and relax. They carry Shell gas. The deli carries bored head lunch meat. They have hot or cold subs, sandwiches. They also have salads, snacks and desserts. Super friendly and helpful staff. Restrooms are clean and orderly. Handicap parking and access. I will stop there again when traveling. Semper Fi to the staff member former Marine who made my sub. It was awesome.
By far the best sandwiches off the interstate. You'll love them and staff is very friendly. Love this place. This sandwich is The Duke.
Fantastic salad!! You can get any sandwich made into a salad!! It was so good! They even tossed it for me, full to the rim and a little cup of dressing of my choice. Might become a weekly habit!
This place is what’s up! Never would have expected to find a boars head deli in a gas station convenience store. Staff was super helpful and eager to offer suggestions on their signature sandwiches. Gent recommended the number 2 because “my momma makes the cranberry relish and it’s it’s the bomb”. So, I got the number 2 and can confirm this guys mom makes amazing cranberry relish! Stop in and grab a bite. You won’t be disappointed.
Nice bathrooms, very clean. Good food and friendly workers. It felt safe.
Fabulous FRESH deli sandwiches, made to order or order off their menu. Number 4 Turkey croissant is yummy and big enough for two meals. After weeks on the road, I appreciate finding the Goose Creek Market!.
Most expensive fuel at this exit. Go south 1/4 mile and save some $$$. Also, to boot, bathrooms are not open during late hours. When I stopped -no joke- stray cats were lounging on the seats around the store. Only thing missing was banjo music and maybe a witch on a broom. As I said: go south just a bit to have a first-world experience.
So have you ever been greeted by a employee named Jasmine? Oh you haven't, then you NEED to stop by this roadside establishment and be greeted by one of the most enthusiastic, energetic, engaged customer representatives I have ever dealt with, not only did she help us find the bathroom, she also made excellent suggestions for convenience products. So to end on a high not yes I will I fact return to this place vs big convenience right down the road....
So we are still in Waynesboro VA. We have been working on the motorhome all day. We ended up Jerry rigging a small gas can that a stranger got for us and finally made it to the Goose Creek Market or a Shell. God bless the young lady Jasmine who was working there tonight. Out of kindness she drove me to the Walmart to buy a large gas can. Now let me tell you about this Shell. It was very clean and tidy. They had a sandwich menu to die for, omg the sounded so good that if it hadn't been closing time we would have had one for dinner. If we are still here in the morning, I may grab a homemade strawberry rhubarb pie for myself and a lemon for hubby. If you get into Waynesboro, VA make sure to stop in at the Goose Creek She'll and say hi to Jasmine and grab a sandwich with a pie for desert. Tell her Dee sent ya.
