When my daughters were little they loved to wear pretty dresses but also enjoyed playing so their clothes needed to be strong as well as fun.
I use 100% soft cotton and cut the design to run on the big size so there is plenty of room to move and grow. The side seams are 'french seams' for added strength and the hem is double folded and stitched with an embroidered pattern. I do not overstitch , the only stitching you see is the hem! The interior stitching is done by hand. I use snaps (metal poppers) to close on the back.
Perfect just as a dress or roomy enough to put over a t-shirt. When your little one grows it is still perfect as a top worn with leggings or shorts. My aim is to make your favorite dress last as long as you love it.
