A community page for fundraising and information about the Sherborn playground rebuild project.
Our beloved Sherborn Playground seems to have fallen into disrepair. Years of New England winters have taken a toll on the beautiful wooden structures and the uneven ground is making it difficult for all children to access. As hard as it is to imagine, changes need to be made.
Amazing plans are currently underway to revitalize and recreate this central space into a community gathering spot for all Sherborn residents. Numerous committees are currently being formed to work on the different aspects of rebuild, from playground design to fundraising to publicity.
Our hope is to incorporate Sherborn's farming history and love of open spaces and have this area reflect all things truly unique about this wonderful town. The timeframe is still being finalized, but our hope is to do a phased rebuild with Phase 1 beginning in early summer 2014.
This is a huge undertaking, and we need your help!!!
