Nothing against the nursing staff, as they were fine. However, how do you justify $6980.00 for a 4 hour ER stay, just be told my 10 year old son has severe diarrhea. This is really sad, cause I can not trust our local hospital to help in any situation, without causing a financial burden. They took 15% off my bill. Geez Thanks. I will die trying to make it to billings, before I step foot in there ever again. As for your reply, 6 months interest free isn't much help when that would be a $1000.00 a month. Again, you're just a money hungry organization. Thankfully I was able to pay my ridicules bill off in full. However, never again will I step foot in that ER.
I needed to go to Urgent Care for a cold that went into my eye. The care I received was timely and top notch. They also gave me great instructions for what to do at home for follow-up. It was a very comfortable and successful experience.!
Hospital provided top notch and life saving care. My husband had a widow maker heart attack and Dr. Lieb performed CPR within seconds. ED nurses, other providers, lab staff, cath lab techs/nurses, ICU nurses were AMAZING. They were so kind and caring. Dr. Brennan was thorough, kind and explained everything very well. We couldn’t ask for better care. It’s been months now. We think of SMH often and all the moments we still have because of their quick acting, skilled teamwork, caring hearts and great senses of humor. For this we will always be thankful.
I had a family member go to ER in excruciating pain. Was told he needed an MRI but that he couldn’t get it without his doctor asking for one. It was the weekend so that wasn’t happening. They got the pain under control, sent him home. No sleep, excruciating pain . Went back next morning. Got his pain under control, wanted to send him home again. He stated in the hospital for pain control. Pain kept under control on day shift, but they removed some of the pain meds at night. The pain was controlled during the day again, the day nurse was amazing. Edy was great. She advocated for him, got the MRI, kept pain under control. Night came, some one of the pain meds was removed for night. The night doctor came in yelling and rude. Busso has no bedside manner. We got him to a spine surgeon that considered this an emergency and the doctors at Sheridan Memorial evidently didn’t agree. Got the surgery not here and so far things are great. He couldn’t walk when he was at this hospital, but evidently that didn’t matter. Thank you Sheridan Memorial for an awful experience, except for Edy the day nurse
We have found the nursing staff friendly but a number of them very poorly trained as they can not answer my husband's basic questions I knew the answers for. There has been constant mess ups the last two months including being left unattended in the E.R. for 45 minutes after the doctor prescribed care for a serious condition.
Had to go to the emergency room once but had to move and stay about 5 days in the pediatric unit with my son because he was so sick. Let me tell you, those nurses/staff in pediatric were absolutely wonderful! My son and I both felt so comfortable with them! Even all 3 pediatric doctors stopped in to check on him! The emergency room staff was NOT so friendly, especially the intake nurse in the front! They are not good with kids. But the pediatric unit was phenomenal! The women's health clinic upstairs is also pretty great. Staff is friendly and nurses are always so comforting!
I have insurance, and I have ensured that the hospital has my current insurance multiple times by then scanning it in both Internal Medicine and Radiology. I have asked them to verify my insurance each time I have gone in, and they have told me I have Cigna thru EMIT. All this, and I am still having bills sent to me where they have not ONCE sent them thru my insurance provider!!! They promise to send it thru when I call about the bill, and then I get another bill where insurance has not been applied. Where is this system broken???? Not pleased with the billing department.
This was the BEST experience! The nurse Leanna seen that I was SERIOUSLY dehydrated and jumped right in to get me the help I needed! Sandy was so gentle when putting in my IV and Dr. Nickerson was AMAZING! Thank YOU UC for all the GREAT Work and attention you give to patients!
The care I received from the ER staff was wonderful. Sheridan Memorial Hospital billing department is another story and very frustrating to deal with, no one picks up the phone or returns voicemails. You need notify your customers if your department is understaffed.
This is hands down one of the most caring hospitals I have ever been to!Jeremy was my phlebotomist & the man is truly AMAZING at his job not to mention he was gentle & actually was very thoughtful regarding my insufficient blood veins! I have nothing bad to say. Honestly the most thoughtful, kind & helpful staff ever!
