Sherwood Park Pool

Pros: Friendly staff, clean pool, usually not too crowded, and a fair price to visit. Cons: Limited shade, limited seating, limited lap lanes, limited hours of operation.

Great little pool. It gets pretty hot during the summer but you get used to it quickly. And then later in the season you wish it was nice and warm again as the temperature drops! They do have a newly installed heater which is great for winter swim practices.

Friendly staff. The waterslide opens after Memorial Day when they have summer staff. The pool is very clean. Check lightning B4 going. If you pay and they warn you about lightning you will not get a refund.

The older lady there was very rude it was looking like she was being a Karen to another family that was speaking to her and she was very rude to them

Lightening alerts within 10 miles if this facility will result in all guests being asked to get out of the pool and off the pool deck. Basically, you will need to leave the facility. 10 miles is ridiculous. That means lightening that is happening west of Lake Washington, and not a threat to swimmers, will result in pool closure. Public swim times of 12-5pm pretty much ensures you'll be there during peak summer thunderstorm hours too. My guess is they have swim teams meeting in the morning. This is really annoying. Swim teams have the pool pretty much all year when the public has no access and they get prime swim time in summer? County folks that run this place need to stop and think about ALL Brevard residents. Pool construction at our home is almost complete, thank goodness, so we don't ever have to come back to this place.

Wait, Mark Palace said they have a newly installed heater for winter swimming! But it’s closed in the winter and half the day in summer!!?? So why is there a heater in the pool when I can barley even swim there in the summer and get kicked out if there’s lightening in Orlando basically??

Not bad, good price… kind of boring

Ok pool. Too much chlorine. Don't let you use a toddler float "because its to big" even though we used it several times before. The lifeguard girls take the job to their head. Says they open at 12 but we waited a half hour but no one came so we went home. Guess you can't go right at opening.

Pool looks inviting but not yet open for the summer. Has activities posted for upcoming events thru out the summer. For Sherwood pool as well as Fee Avenue and one other pool. Daily rates do apply. Web address is posted to get further information. Seems to have ample parking for now. Hard to determine since the pool is closed if parking will be available.

We took 12 camp kids here and they had a great time. Be sure to bring cash to pay. I wish the had more shaded areas, but they do offer loaner swim vests and goggles, which is nice.
