Jonathan and Paulina were fantastic hosts! Jonathan was so knowledgeable about history and shared some of his stories from the Marines and Navy. Very patriotic family-God bless America! The home was amazing with history and the detail of the architecture was fabulous. The breakfast was 3 courses of homemade breakfast foods and the presentation was fantastic! I would highly recommend this B&B to everyone, especially if you love the history of the area! We will return.
We had a wonderful time visiting this beautiful property! Jonathan and Polina were the perfect hosts! They were concerned with our comfort during our stay…… Very attentive to whatever we needed. The breakfast was excellent, and the room was beautiful and comfortable. Unique pieces of artwork and historical artifacts make the home interesting and take you back to an earlier time. So thankful we found this place! We hope to visit again and highly recommend it!
We came to the Chennault B&B as a place to stay while visiting the Shiloh National Battlefield. Rather than being just a place to rest between activities, the B&B was an essential addition to our overall experience. The room was spacious and the bed luxurious. We spent the evening winding down on the porch illuminated with gas lamps drinking wine. The art and artifacts are too many to detail, interesting and beautiful to explore. The breakfasts were an experience in its own right and does not leave you wanting. If I were considering a trip to Shiloh I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. It was well worth it!
The first word I uttered as my wife, and I drove up to the Shiloh Chennault B&B was WOW! Our host provided a tour of the residence, and I was amazed at the beauty and history behind these walls. The furnishings, paintings and artifacts were all wonderful and Jonathan was informative as we explored this grand estate. The daily three course breakfast was beautiful in presentation, delicious and was a true delicacy. The Jenny Lind suite was spacious and contained a large jacuzzi off the main room which we thoroughly enjoyed. Jonathan and Polina were exceptional hosts and pampered us for the entire week of our stay. I would highly recommend the Shiloh Chennault B&B to anyone visiting the area or for that special anniversary or other event.
Jonathan and Paulina made us feel so at home. They fixed a “romantic package” for my wife’s birthday that included champagne, meat and cheese , assorted fruits and nuts, and roses, absolutely knocked it out of the park!! Paulina’s breakfast was amazing as well. Jonathan’s knowledge of history is astonishing. My wife simply adored Paulina and I can honestly say that Jonathan and I seemed to be longtime friends right away! Wonderful stay and we will be returning!
We have stayed at numerous wonderful B&B’s but this was without a doubt the most beautiful home and welcoming staff ever. The house is simply stunning. Our bedroom was incredibly spacious and elegant! All the amenities one might expect at any 5 star hotel. Breakfast was superb and the presentation was excellent. We took the history and art tour not really knowing what to expect. My goodness! There is history and fine art on every wall and in every room. So worth the tour! I wish we had allowed time for a second nights stay. We’ll be back. I give this a 6 out of 5 stars.
The Shiloh Chennault B&B was a quiet, scenic B&B that my girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at. The rooms were beautiful and well decorated with great examples of art and artifacts throughout. The hosts were engaging and the breakfast that we had was simply outstanding. We were advised to sit out on the veranda during sunset and it did not disappoint. It was perfect.
What a find! We stayed one evening while visiting Shiloh. The B&B is owned by a lovely couple with a passion for history and art. Rooms are beautifully decorated with period appropriate furniture, but also have modern touches such as a mini fridge and coffee station tastefully tucked away. Breakfast was a three course event! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would stay again if in the area.
One-of-a-kind Christian Bed and Breakfast experience!! The owners were very hospitable and the premises was gorgeous. The amount of historical art pieces and artifacts is unbelievable. We stayed in the Presidential Suite which was extra roomy, and the bed was so comfortable. Johnathan is a wealth of knowledge and Polina is a FABULOUS cook!! You will not be disappointed!!!
Absolutely fantastic B&B in every way! Jonathan and Polina could not have been better hosts! The home is spectacular, the bed extremely comfortable and the breakfast sumptuous! Add to that the wonderful art and history collections with Jonathan’s fabulous art and history knowledge, and this piece of paradise cannot be beat. We would highly recommend this stay to anyone and we can’t wait to return.
