Shimmy Shack is one great little vegan/gluten free restaurant! Taste and flavors are spot on! Our particular family favorite is the Shimmy Mac. So good! You seriously don't miss the wheat & dairy. We are a family of gluten free and dairy free with one member being gluten free and vegan. This is OUR place! From the main dishes to the delectable cookies and bars! Yum! My daughter loves the falafel pita and fries! They also make some pretty good dips to compliment your fries! Friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere.

This restaurant is adorable. I loved looking around at everything. They even have clothes for sale for a donation to their food pantry. I am new to being vegan. The food is a little pricey and the burger wasn’t super great, but the experience was excellent. The employees are kind and friendly. The food was out quick. The place is clean and unique. They have reusable mugs for water, cookies, a free bookshelf, and meals for sale in the fridge. I will definitely be back to try some more stuff out. Very glad I stopped in today!

This place is just so cool! Love the retro vibes- and the food! The falafel pita is delicious, and the sweet potato chili and the lemon bar. Can’t wait to go back and try everything! All vegan and gluten free, such a gem of a spot.

I live in the area and have been vegan for 2 years and never knew about this place! Came and ordered a double cheeseburger, a coney dog, and a lemon bar. I love seeing more vegan restaurants like this popping up. The lentil burger and lemon bar were sooo good. On the burger I removed the ketchup and mustard and added the Shimmy sauce instead! The Coney dog was good too. The carrot was kind of small and still crunchy but the coney on top was really good. Will be a frequent customer going forward!

everything was soooo good, first time here so I tried the classic burger with fries. Nice environment, nice people. I will be back to try more items on the meau. no before picture... I was too excited to eat!

The food is pretty good, but they're super slow, don't answer the phone, and online ordering is unavailable. Sorry but don't have time to wait 30-45 min on a take out order after I get there. Stopped again today, on Aug. 18th, supposed to be open at 4:30pm per their sign and message on the answering machine, but closed no one here. This is no way to run a business.

I purchased a Groupon for this restaurant. I probably would never have given it a try otherwise. Everything on the menu is vegan. We ordered nachos, chili, strawberry shake, sweet potato fries and a chocolate chip cookie. The nachos and chili were very good although skimpy in size. The shake was good and it had a delicate flavor. The sweet potato fries were tasty and crispy. The cookie had a unique flavor that I couldn't place. The restaurant has an eclectic decor with an up-beat atmosphere. The owner is very friendly and warm. I wish there were more offerings on the menu. I could see myself coming back to enjoy the eclectic feel itself. I am not vegan myself but was satisfied with the food and felt satiated. I am looking forward to coming back.

My husband and I were really pleased with our first trip to Shimmy Shack. The restaurant is super cute and made us feel very comfortable. Food was hot, fast and delicious. We both got classic burgers. The handmade lentil patty is perfect for the burger. Experienced vegans will appreciate the nuance of the flavors and my husband liked it even though he's newer to vegan burgers. The biscuit bun is a special touch. We both loved the seasoning on the fries and I really enjoyed my shake. We ate a lot of food and we were full but didn't feel heavy. Grabbed some yummy cookies to go. Worth a drive to Plymouth. We paired with a free movie at Penn Theater for a great date night.

This place is great! I got the falafel and chili cheese fries and they were awesome. The cookie was delicious too. It’s decorated so cute on the inside!

Debra and her team were amazing! Shimmy Shack catered our wedding reception in July. It was so fun to have a food truck cater our venue. They also handled bar tending, appetizers, desserts, and our late night snack - in addition to dinner, of course. We are both vegan and were excited to have a gluten free, vegan dinner - and to get all of our non-vegan friends/family enjoying food outside their comfort zone and talking about it! Debra is so much fun and you can tell she loves what she does. All of her employees were friendly, professional, and provided excellent service. Highly, highly recommend!! We don't have our wedding pictures back, or I would have added some pics!
