Let Your Light Shine at Shining Star Productions
The goal of Shining Star Productions is to bring quality training in the fine arts to the population of Hopkins County. A background in the fine arts aids students in cognitive development, improves their confidence, and fosters a sense of creativity.
Theatre is the perfect medium for any student interested in pursuing the fine arts. Acting, Music, Dance, and Art are all able to be combined in one unified learning experience. There are aspects of theatre for all students-- from the most timid child who wishes to run the lights to the future star who craves the spotlight. There is a home for all of these students with Shining Star Productions.
Students will learn skills to be used in all of their future endeavors. Language skills are improved through studies in the classics, self-confidence and public speaking are emphasized through performance, and students are taught teamwork through having to depend on their fellow students to put on a quality production.
In all of this we strive to let our lights shine for Christ in the community. He is the reason for all that we do.
