First visit 2 hours in the lobby and walked out. Second visit one hour wait again to be rushed through the visit. Theres some fascination with alcoholism. When asked if I drink and answered maybe 5-6 times a year I was an alcoholic and immediately had to defend these rare occasions, almost fixated. Went there for other issues but that became the focus and had to go back to get the original issues diagnosed and defend a rare drinking occurrence multiple times. Just not good service. This isn't a one off opinion either, I have given multiple chances to see if it would turn around as he came fairly well regarded. Last visit a year ago waited another hour to listen to the doctor have a 20 min vacation conversation in the next room with a different patient only to come into my room and tell me he's short on time and needs to hurry. Only when vocalizing my dismay an talking about his "vacation" conversation did the tone change. Lastly just tried to make my next appt granted time got away from me on this one and it was a year and the nurse was absolutely awful. Not the normal lady but when talking about the vaccination and my hesitancy after how sick it got me 3 weeks and not wanting to miss another vacation because of it I was told tough cookies. Either get it or find another doctor. That was the long and the short of it, no exaggerations. No options and she made it very obvious she couldn't care less. You could hear it in her voice and very much took a bullying attitude. Exactly what you expect from a nurse right? Let me end by saying I even understand the fatigue of dealing with anit-vaxxers or the opposite and dealing with entitled a holes. This was neither and again, they couldn't have cared less. Do not recommend.

It's always a 5 star when visiting Dr. Shirman & Karen. They have the best and knowable visiting "upcoming" nurses from U.W. Even Dr. Shirmans dog is a joy. I would highly recommend this office. Right next to Highline I know Hospital. Comfortable setting. Dr. is really listens to you. Never feel rushed. Love them

With most private practice’s being bought out by large corporations we are eternally grateful to have found Dr. Shirman,. Beyond his years of experience and knowledge, his interpersonal skills, treating you as a human being, treating you the patient as a whole, his authentic empathetic nature and a plethora of more positive things we could say, cannot be matched at any corporation. it will be a very sad and devastating day when he is no longer in practice and only large corporations are available. If there was a 10 star rating we would give him 100 stars.
