SCC is an Independent Christian Church located in southwest Louisville made up of broken people serving an awesome God!
To reach the lost for Christ, to serve people in our local and global community, to be a place of hope, direction, motivation, joy, love and acceptance.
As an Independent Christian church we:
- Speak where the Scripture speaks
- Remain silent where Scripture is silent
- Stand united & strong in matters of core doctrine
- Allow liberty in matters of opinion
- Strive to act in love in all things
We do desire to incorporate the teachings of Jesus into every aspect of what we do, but we also want people to understand that we aren't putting on a show just to look good. So, please, come as you are with all you fears & failures and walk alongside us in ours as we strive daily to be a little more like Jesus.
To lead people to Jesus who don't yet know Him & the salvation He offers us.
To build up the church body into a healthy, active, God-fearing, God-loving family.
To change the community around us for Christ, letting Him impact people where they are, leaving no-one behind.
