Shoe Dept

I shopped yesterday at the store #628 in Century III Mall on Sawmill Run Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA and had such a pleasant experience! There was this cute blonde girl who helped me find sizes and socks and she was so pleasant and nice. I spent a lot of money on two pairs of boots, two slippers, socks and tights. I had actually planned on going back this weekend with my daughters ages 9 and 11 to buy more shoes this weekend. The slippers that I bought ran small and I was just exchanging them....not returning, because I never return even defecting things, I will give them away first. I could tell it was not going to be a pleasant experience. This black haired lady was digging in her purse and I think on her phone and looked annoyed at me and not at all happy. So, instead of saying she had a problem to begin with, after she exchanges them giving me sighs and petty, high-school looks, she states to me that the inside fur in the slippers were flat a little and they were worn a lot longer and dirty. I swear on my life my 11 year old had them on for five, maybe ten minutes at the most. She said they were a little small, but okay and I said wear them for a few minutes to make sure, because if they are too small we can just exchange them. I have hardwood floors, so maybe some dust, but I actually just swept them that day, so no way they were dirty. I looked at the slippers...they were in mint condition...no dirt, nothing. The fur was flat, lol. She said it in a rude and condescending way....and I said so you are saying I'm lying? She said right off the bat before I said anything other than that - no you said that and are the one causing a problem!! Now I have working for major communications companies in customer service and managing and I go above and beyond to be nice and tip like 30-50% when I go out. Sad that this mean-spirited and nasty lady is so unhappy in her life that she has to be so rude. I even said, never mind, I will keep the slippers...they were $10 and I'm not going to take grief over slippers. My daughter really needed slippers for a sleep over and that is the only reason I came in to exchange them and right away - the next day, not even 24 hours. I also called their 800 number and did not get a live person....I got a vm and it has been over an hour and I don't have faith that I will get a call. I never leave reviews, maybe once in my life, but I had to after the behavior of this very unhappy woman. I will never shop at this store again. I guess that is why it is in such a bad mall. I never shop at Century III Mall and just happened to be near it and my daughter needed boots for her Halloween costume and I was short on time. My experience was so bad that I will be writing reviews on Google, Yelp, Facebook and anywhere else that I can today.
