Very helpful associate helped us find a pair of shoes for our son. Unfortunately we did not discover a manufacturing defect with the zipper until he wore them the first day. The zipper separated due to the teeth not being at the same height. The store was extremely unhelpful, saying that manufacturing defect or not, the shoes were "destroyed" and refused to help us further.
Employee was very helpful and even though they didn't have the shoe I was interested in in my size, he looked it up and they could be ordered and shipped directly to me at no additional charge. I was very pleased.
I buy shoes at this location all the time. Tonight we went to buy shoes for my husband. He found 2 pairs. The one pair had a clearance sign on top of the boxes. A large sign. Reg 144.00 with a sticker marked clearance 70.00. The nice salesperson said he could order his size at the register. We walked up with him. He checked us out. We then noticed it rang up for 90.00. I questioned why it rang up 90.00. He didn’t know and asst mgr walked passed and grabbed the receipt. She bluntly asked what I was questioning. I said it says clearance 69.99 on receipt then said 90.00. I said clearance sign said 70.00. She bluntly said that must be wrong that sales over. We walked back together. I showed her sign on stack of boots. She grabbed the red clearance sticker of 70.00 wadded it up and put in her pocket. Said someone must’ve moved my signs around. They are clearly marked on boxes for 90.00. I said we went by sign on boxes and didn’t look at boxes because you didn’t have his size. She said that isn’t my fault people move signs all the time. I said it wasn’t moved you just said that sale is over. I said it was mismatched and you should honor the sign. She called the mgr and made it sound like I was being very rude. When I was calmly questioning a mismarked item. She was rude and not professional at all. I just spent 177.00 there and she couldn’t honor a mismarked sign. Super disgusted with the so called Asst Mgr at Shoe Sensation in Mt Pleasant, Mi. 3.24.23. Very sad representation of your store.
Seems like a locally owned shop but I'm not really sure. Had a nice wide selection of shoes and very helpful staff. Like surprisingly so, I half expected the sales girl to grab a weird looking stool and stick my foot on a metal plate to measure it. Remember those? That didn't happen but she was attentive, informative and friendly. The prices also seemed better than most other shoe stores. I'm definitely going back.

The woman who took my call was very helpful and found just what I was looking for. And the shoes arrived in a few days!
Boss and associate were at the counter talking when I went in, I spent 15 min looking for shoes and never once did either come to ask if I needed any assistance until I was on my way out. I will not be back, I went to Dunham a couple doors down and bought my shoes.
Went in right away found exactly what I needed for my little. The shoes were even on sale! The staff was extremely friendly and there was a lady named Miss Rachel that helped find and put on my little ones shoes at his request. He was so excited about his new shoes, we left with him wearing them right away!
Had a lovely conversation with the manager and the new trainee. Great selection of non-slip work shoes. Thanks guys.
Great selection of shoes just not for kids they only have one isle for kids shoes
