Employees are GREAT. The Breakfast bar is seriously lacking food items. not due to the employees stocking compared to Marietta. I would guess ordered food would be good. The salad bar was nice and well stocked.
Shoneys has always been something special when it came to my childhood. I remember eating shoneys in lexington with my family, as we got older and people started closing down shoneys , we stopped going. Recently I lost my father and when I came to wv, I wanted to have breakfast like we always use to. I was in tears thinking of happy moments and how I'll miss that..I know to some people places are just somewhere you go, but to others, it's a good memory with a loved one.
Food cooked well but not pleased with new sauces for spaghetti specifically the meat sauce is nasty. I also would love to see the old twin burger brought back along with Italian feast as these were delicious..and the help is remarkable. They attend your every need with @ smile and helpful attitude.Food: 3/5
Our waitress was really friendly but when we found she was the only one there we should have kown... went up to breakfast bar and everything I think of when I think "Shoneys Breakfast Bar" such as sausage rice casserole almost empty, mushrooms barely and dried looking, bacon was burnt. She was trying but... I'm sorry we left.Food: 1/5
Wonderful to be able to enjoy Shoney's... I miss ours in Marietta. Awesome food, friendly hard working staff... you all should be proud... not only helping their own assigned tables, but... going around to everyone to see if we was all ok. I'll be sure to come back, I don't get to Parkersburg often.. but it will be worth it to eat at one of my favorite places. Job well done and jeep up the good work
The food and service was fine. What really impressed me is that I overheard the staff say they had one cook. The buffet was fully stocked and the food was presentable and tasted good. Give that cook a raise!
My birthday, my mom surprised me, by them all coming out clapping & singing to me . It was a nice experience. Shout out to great food at Shoneys in Pburg.
Food was good. The spread of the buffet was had typical breakfast foods like sausage, pancakes, and also salads, etc... Service was great. Waitress and staff were kind to us and one another. The bathrooms were a disgusting mess however - and the messes are not addressed quickly during busy hours.
Good food on buffet...no longer giving menus unless requested...floor has a greasy film on in, feels like slipping all the way to and from buffet. Restrooms need cleaned horribly...had to beg for coffee refills. Probably won't return.
The food is fine, but if someone doesn't do something quick they won't be open for long. Trash cans over flowing out front, tables and floors are down right sticky, even though freshly cleaned by staff. To turn a plate you actually have to lift it and set it back down.
