Shoobies is the perfect place for families and big groups, and a fun place for kids. Outside seating, just a block away from the beach, the restaurant is decorated in a '50s - '60s atmosphere, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner using fresh home made ingredients. Loved their PA location so I may be a bit biased when I say that I love this beach-y version. Sure it seems a bit redundant to some, but who cares when the food is delicious? I’ve got two words for you: “bacon gravy.” Of course, they have other bacon-less options, but “bacon gravy” has stuck with me. Definitely a must stop on any shore visit. Great food. Great service.
Our best meal in Sea Isle! Don't let the exterior fool you, this is elevated farm to table food that is much more sophisticated than typical beach town fare. We ate here twice during the week, a lunch and a dinner and everything was very very good. The servers have genuine smiles and positive attitudes, and you could taste the freshness and quality of the food. Can't wait to come back next year.
Worst breakfast I have had in awhile. Piece of Kraft cheese laid on top of my eggs.I could make better eggs in my college dorm. Home fries where mushed potatoes. Asked for hot sauce-gave us to empty bottles of hot sauce. Not going again.Food: 1/5
I stopped by the other evening for a quick bite with my family and I was served by a wonderful young lady by the name of Toni I hope I spelled her name correctly. She provided excellent service and was so polite that she made my evening! By her recommendation, I thoroughly enjoyed a delicious old fashioned burger. I have never felt inclined to write a review on any meal or service until now thanks to Toni and Bright Spot. We will return!
My parents used to take us to Shoobies when we were visiting the shore in the 90's. The menu and the food are not what they used to be, but there were some things we found that were actually pretty good. I'd recommend tater tots with anything you order, the tots and the fries were hot and seasoned well and the burgers were really fresh and delicious. I used to love their milk shakes because they were so thick and huge!! They used to come in giant metal mixing cups along with your cup and you could pour your own milkshake. I was disappointed to find that they are now basically a small plastic cup of melted ice cream and milk. Overall, I'd recommend Shoobies to anyone looking for a burger and fries next to the boardwalk!!
Just had the best chicken sandwich everrr!!!! from Bright Spot and my husband very picky about his food devoured the Ribs he ordered too!!!! Thank you for the amazing food and very friendly accommodating service… Food: 5/5

Under new management. Run by the folks from Bright Spot Cafe exton and Newtown square. Fresh food, local meats and veggies, such a friendly staff. Outdoor seating during the summer weather is perfect. Character breakfasts are always a huge hit
Our waiter was so nice and the food was really good. We got the fruit on the side and it was really fresh
