Shopper's World

Description

Shopper's World is a retail park owned by DDR Corp. It is located on Route 9, near the intersection of Route 30 and the Mass Pike (I-90) in Framingham, Massachusetts. It was built on the site of Shoppers' World, a historic, early suburban shopping mall that was torn down in 1994. Along with the Natick Mall, Shopper's World helps form the heart of the regional shopping district known locally as the Golden Triangle.History and layoutOne of the earliest suburban shopping malls in the United States, Shoppers' World (spelled with an apostrophe and possessive "s" in the plural form) opened on October 4, 1951 with 44 stores, 25,000 people, and State Treasurer John E. Hurley present. This futuristic concept mall was designed to be the mecca of suburban shopping between Boston and Worcester, as the area around its original property remains today. The large Jordan Marsh dome on the southern end was the sole anchor store for the mall in the earliest days. The dome was visible from the air and was used on aeronautical charts as a visual reporting point for aircraft approaching Boston's Logan Airport. It was reputed to be the third largest (in diameter) unsupported dome in the world after St. Peter's Basilica in Rome and St. Paul's Cathedral in London.

Well Organized store was neat and clean . Wide range of gift items for every Reason & every Season. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Hobby Lobby was great and liked it very much.
Tried the new Cava. People were nice enough, but all the bowls looked the same...hard to tell what each one was. Very very salty. Is this the new "in" thing - dumping a ton of salt on everything? I would really love to taste the ingredients rather than salt. I may give it one more try, but there are plenty of Mediterranean restaurants that have delicious fresh quality ingredients that don't need a lot of salt to give it taste.
The plaz is good. The stores seem nice. I wasn't there for that. I was there dropping off a plumber so he could go do his job. They're adding a new building coming soon
Shoppers world, still has a decent amount of good store ls like 5 Below TJMaxx & Marshalls etc. Ulta Beauty , Barnes & Nobes Booksellers , which is currently Out of Business .Best Buy, Love Marshalls & TJMaxx, Hobby Lobby Crafts store , Micheal's Arts & Craft. Formerly, the old Toys"R"Us store is now Hobby Lobby. Edit; We went here on as a family on March -9th-23, this is our closest Hobby Lobby Arts & Craft Store near us. We always try our best to go to Hobby Lobby when we're out in that area. We found Hobby Lobby to be a unique place to shop at or just browse around. They have so many amazing things in there. Great place to get gifts for Friends and family, & seasonal holiday stuff. I'll definitely come back to this store again soon!
Great assortment of stores and some good food chains. Park smart if you’re going to several stores so you walk less.
This is a good strip mall with all of the TJX Corp. stores, TJMaxx, Marshalls, Sierra, Home Sense and DSW Shoes, Best Buy, PetSmart etc. They have added an Olive Garden and CAVA restaurants as well. There is also a Macy's furniture store.
One stop shopping center with DSW , the new Ulta Beauty, Marshall’s, Micheal’s and of course Tesla charging station
PetSmart had the new cat box I needed and the price on litter was more than fair.
