The store is relatively clean and well organized. There is a lot of variety offered and their prices beat competitor's. They have drastically reduced the number of cashier's on duty in an effort to force customers into using self checkout. The parking lot can be a pain to navigate
First I got a whole chicken half cooked. Then, now over charged cheese. I don't like to complain but no one can afford over charged food these days lol! Shoprite's employees really need to start paying attention. And the vegetables are crazy expensive but they look like they been sitting there for months.. I might have to start shopping at whole food. They are expensive to but at least their veggies they look fresh
When I entered the store between baking goods and the Deli section there were flys buzzing and landing on my neck face and head. I had to get out of there the flys were frecking me out. When I got to the fish department strong smell of fish that almost made want to find a different store Then during check out it became a unpleasant experience using self check out. The prices of everything in the store were shocking to top it off I was so overwhelmed with high pricing that I overlooked a bag of soil that I left under the cart while putting the groceries in my car.
Every Sunday I go to this location to buy my groceries. After the horrible experience I had with the online department. What a waste of time. I would always have to wait 15 minutes after checking in. When I went to customer service to see what was taking so long. The lady told me they forgot, the women who brought me my cart talk to me like I was stupid. That the same lady who answer the phone. How and why she still has herob is beyond me. Doesn’t seem like she knows much about it either. Today I go to shop rite west depthford as I always do. I see my favorite employee. Come to find out she just quit her job. Finally a friendly face with some smarts this company let walk right out the door. She quit her job due to the fact the company did nothing about a co worker who bullies and pick on her. Made a point to make this girl look bad. I continue to talk to the nice girl who asked for a transfer and was told no. Go to morning time. I can’t believe the mis treatment of this former employee. This store should be a shamed
Very well stocked store with great staff. But the dairy department needs help. It's a mess. It's like Niagara Falls but with milk. It's dripping constantly and smells terrible.
I had a really long day. A gentleman in the parking lot, who is an employee of Shoprite asked me if he could help me get my bags into my car. He was so sweet, I was exhausted, thank you, Mr. Push Cart! An angel in our midst.
Shoprite is great! Especially the seafood department! That young,dashing, and handsome young man that works nights in seafood always treats me nice and is a great employee! He deserves a RAISE!
This supermarket is always a madhouse. I like it because it is a larger store and they usually have most of the items that I like to get. We usually have to make multiple trips to more than one store. Like any other ShopRite I have been in, their produce is mediocre, however, the selection in this store is always good. There was only one sale item that that they did not have in stock. In regards to accessibility, I was able to easily navigate the store with my scooter. They also have electronic scooters to loan out. The bathroom is also accessible, however, the floor is always slippery and my cane slips on it every time. Last week I used their delivery system which cost me $17.00 to have my order delivered, plus tip, and they were on time and did well. They send text updates with the time of delivery. Everything was packed well except that they put my bananas with heavy items. Other than that everything was well packed. Overall, I would go to this store more often if I lived closer.
The parking lot is being grinded & tarred during morning seinor hours. It took me almost 20 mins to get into the store from my vehicle, & that's handicap parking. But once inside, empty shelves, not worth the trouble to go shopping there at 7:45 am.
I don't shop here very often because based on what direction the wind is blowing is whether or not your going to get a good deal. I've found items in Walmart for $5 that are being sold here for $8 for example Rana Pesto Sauce - Family Size. If they could be more competitive than I'd consider shopping here more often. They're friendly and the store is clean. They also offer kids gifts if you're in a pinch. Flower section is unmatched if you're in Deptford.
