Our group was hopeful by the positive reviews and menu, unfortunately, the food bland and mediocre and the art work is noticeable odd combination. I wouldn’t normally mention artwork but there is literally a person stabbing a buffalo in the bathroom… On top of the below average food, 3/5 of the group got food poison/upset stomachs. The individuals that got sick had the cheese burgers and chicken salad. The fries that came with the burger looked like they had been reheated old fries. Strongly recommend skipping this cafe.

This is a combination take out and deli style restaurant with great food. You order at the counter from a broad menu including delicious breakfast items or sandwiches and paninis. Beyond the counter and grille is a large salad bar for eat in or take out. It has very fresh vegetables and salad greens and a variety of offerings hard boiled eggs, chicken cutlets, macaroni salad. The staff is very welcoming and efficient. They bring the food to your table and the wait is never long. If you are traveling on I-95, the Shoreline cafe is about a mile from highway exit 54 Cedar Street in a quaint New England downtown.

Nice little spot with moderate pricing. The staff was great, the atmosphere was calm and inviting and the food was good. I would absolutely recommend if you are in the area.

Pretty good mix of price and quality; my sandwich was a generous portion and the salad bar was reasonable. The location is in a nice little 'main street' area away from some of the busier parts of the town. I'll go back if I'm in the area, would love to try the breakfast options.

Called from the highway and picked it up on our way. Everything was cooked to order and the portions are generous. Breakfast cooked all day adds to the wide variety on the menu. Located in a beautiful spot where you can see through to the kitchen.

I ordered the blue steak sub and they filled a quarter of the sub with steak. It was a tomato, lettuce and red pepper sub with a sprinkle of steak. The sandwich had 3 bites worth of steak. This is not the first time they have cut down on the protein. The fries were old and stale as well. It’s a shame that a Branford staple has lowered their standards to such degree.

Breakfast burrito was decent and plenty big. It was just the egg, cheese, and bacon which I appreciated. Too much rice or beans is not my favorite
