Horrible experience I called to make an appointment for my allergies and they wouldn't take a COVID test I paid for a week ago. The rude desk lady tells me I need to go pay for another one in order to go in to see the Dr. When I refused she hung up on me. I call her back she said those are the rules and hing up on me again. I will be ee return here. It's funny how you guys demand payment when we go in but when we need help you guys try nothing to help us.

I've been going to Shores Medical for 2 years and they are always pleasant. Dr. Woodard is very nice and has a great staff working with him. Tara James, APN is a tell-it-like-it-is kind of caregiver and that is refreshing. I like that she explains what is going on in terminology that I understand and when she doesn't have the equipment to run a certain test - is quick to refer you. I had a scare with my iron levels and she went above an beyond to help me, including calling the ER personally to speak to the on-call doctor to get me help. I'm really excited that she will be DOCTOR Tara James very soon!

I loved my doctor. The office needs to be reorganized from the ground up. I made at least 6 calls over 2 weeks for my Dr. to call me. I never got a call back. I believe she probably never knew I was calling her. I changed providers.

I had been going to this doctor's office for awhile but recently had a horrible experience I can only describe as emotionally abusive and I will not be going back for more. First of all, the office has a sign saying that patients must wear masks but some do not wear them in the crowded indoor waiting room if they don't feel like it. The staff does not support you when you request that other patients wear masks as well as you. They will refuse to treat you and not tell you where to go to get treated if you tell them you think you may have a sinus problem. Last but not least, I could not get my meds in a timely fashion and was yelled at and hung up on by one of the nurses on call. I am a very likable person and this is not my problem.

The staff is nice; however, the facility is in need of a face lift and they do not provide full medical services. My partner has gout and needed to go for his quarterly review to refill his prescription. The doctor refilled is prescription but would not refill his pain medicine. He was advised it is against their facilities policies to prescribe pain meds. Isn't that part of the healing process and treatment? I went a few days later for an allergic reaction. I knew I needed to get a physical exam and wanted to schedule later, after I healed up. The nurse practitioner said lets save some time and get your blood tests completed and then we can discuss when I come back for my physical exam. I requested a HIV test be ordered and was advised that my insurance company would not cover that and they don't order STD tests. First of all, the nurse practitioner needed me to explain why I was there, so how would they know what my insurance covers and does not cover. Secondly, if I requested it, don't worry about who is going to pay. Thirdly, what type of doctors office doesn't scan for STD's or any other medical condition. Long story short, I will not be returning and am searching for another FULL SERVICE doctors office.

I absolutely love these guys. I called Sharon and Dr. Girard with an emergency right while they were closing and they were ALL over it. They jumped at the chance to help me out and saved from a terrible situation. I feel like they're willing to do whatever it takes to help their patients and it definitely showed today. I am very, VERY glad I selected them as my primary care doctor!

I'd I could give three owner/dr water-something had the worst bedside manner I have ever seen. He's cranky and believes he knows all. His god-complex is discusting. I truly pray that he ends up in a position as a patient who treats him the way he treats his patients. Please be cautious before washing wast time with dr. What's truly unfortunate is there are amazing doctors there. But given enough time you will have to deal with him.

I just started going to see Dr Tara James, she is super friendly. She is very informative and understands my issues and is working with me to help me become healthier adult. After a stay at the hospital, I was very scared. Since I started coming to Tara my blood pressure is under control. I’m exercising regularly and eating health. Which has helped me to lose 30 pounds.

There when I needed them and always kind. I spent much of December 2015 in this office and each visit I was greeted kindly, taken back quickly and was able to see the doctor quickly.
