Shoreway Beverage

I asked for a certain beverage be brought in they took my name and number said they'd call when it came in. 3 weeks later I went back after not receiving a phone call and there was the beverage I asked for 1/2 of It was sold, when I asked the lady behind the register about it she said that they will keep it stocked I've been back a few times since and yet to see the beverage back in stock. I know it's not a "shortage" because I see it fully stocked across the street and in other stores! I went back two weeks ago told the worker about this issue she again took my name and number, said it would be in by the weekend and SHE would call me no phone call, I went back in on the weekend all the other flavors of this particular beverage were restocked And none of the flavors I'd asked for.

Went it multiple times and everything has always been great when the older gentleman is working. Went in to get cigarettes and as soon as I ask for them and ain’t even finished with getting what else I needed behind the register and very rudely saying I need your ID with a attitude while interrupting what else I was needing to get and my wallet was open and I had my ID, just couldn’t wait til you rung me up?! I’m a boss myself I manage people and how about next time you ask how are you doing what can I get for you? You get the Items and then ask for ID I don’t know if it’s because I’m of color or because I didn’t brush my hair because today is the first day I had off in 6 days but I took it offensive and just being rude I don’t know if it was just a bad day but anytime I see the lady I will not be stopping in, crazy what a negative attitude could make a customer feel like, and the guy in front of me didn’t look over 25 so why didn’t he have to give his ID maybe it’s because he’s white probably or been there before like me. All I got to say is it doesn’t matter about color or nothing each customer should be treated the same! I live in a 600k house and drive a 75k car and work for what I got legally. So to be treated like I was less than and like I’m stupid or cut off because you thought I didn’t have a ID and did is what is funny and disgusting have a great day

Pretty sizable craft beer selection, but you can tell that whoever does the ordering doesn't know anything about beer. Additionally, a lot of their "specialty" beer is overpriced. I've also purchased beer from here that had the canned on date marked over with a sharpie. Not a good look..

Always have what I need/want, and open everyday!

I go there because it's convenient, that's it. The employees are a total mess. They've been there awhile and can still manage to be completely confused about what they are doing. Not costumer friendly, act like you're bothering them, zero costumer service skills. Make sure you check your lotto before walking out because it will be completely wrong again, how do you work there all the time, for years and not know your job? The last thing you should feel going in or out of that place is as if you're being judged.

They always get my favorite wine & the owner is always very nice!

Friendly staff and a really good selection of anything alcoholic. Wine and beer selection includes a lot of locally grown or brewed favorites and Shoreway recently added a Beer Cave. Love their dill pickle potato chips and Caramel crunches.

This is my favorite liquor store, mostly because it is closest to my house. The owners are very accommodating. If I need a specialty item they will order it for me, i.e. pony kegs for my father-in-law. The staff is friendly and they always great me with a smile.
