I've been an attorney on the Peninsula for 24 years, focusing on business, tax, and estate planning law. One of my favorite tasks is to help clients begin a new business and help clients avoid pitfalls and see their dreams come alive.
Similarly, I find it very satisfying to help people to plan for their financial futures that provide for their loved ones and helps them realize their dreams. Wills, trusts, life insurance, and tax planning may sound boring and even morbid but they can be building blocks of a more satisfying life.
No less satisfying is helping people who are weighed down with tax problems to find workable solutions. I have advanced legal training (LL.M.) in taxation and was admitted to practice before the U.S. Tax Court and the IRS 22 years ago. For many clients I've used the IRS offers in compromise rules to reduce what they owe in back taxes substantially.
I came to the Peninsula right out of law school and fell in love. I live with my wife and three sons near Hood Canal. We love fishing, hiking and exploring the Olympic and Kitsap peninsulas.
