Showcase Cinemas Deluxe 16

I used to love this movie theater, but my last visit proved to me its needs a lot of work. So I picked j2 for my seat. Go to sit and hit the lounge button for the chair to go back, and nothing happened. Since the theater was basically empty I moved down the row no seats in the back worked, I ended up going down stairs one row tho and finally a chair that moved and the heat option worked as well.. Also the price for snacks is ridiculous..

Great theater! Super comfortable reclining and heated seats, with small table. Friendly, helpful staff. My only advice.. if you plan on getting concessions on a busy day, arrive extra early. The line can be very long at times. If you go for the delivery option to your seats, on those busy days, expect to wait a little longer than it says as well.

Great movie. Sad the little mermaid wasn't available to watch. Nachos were not good but the popcorn was great. Love the heated reclining seats.

THIS PLACE HAVE MICE EVERYWHERE!!! BE CAUTIOUS!!! PEOPLE WERE COMPLAINING LEFT AND RIGHT OF MICE CLIMBING ALL OVER THEM!!! This place is a rip off and a joke. They don’t even clean their seats or trays fully. The amount of money we pay and we have to sit in dirty seats and pay so much for snacks and tickets. On top of that people be resting their dirty feet and shoes on the trays. Use to be free to select tickets online in advance and now you have to pay a good chunk of money just to do it ahead of time online. The staff like to argue with the customers. Save your money, let this place go under, order movies online or rent movies from red box or better yet go somewhere else! Trays aren’t clean, the cup holders aren’t clean and you are sitting on other peoples pop corn and trash. Reading the other reviews about management just standing around, ya they STILL are just standing around and there was 4 of them tonight while I came in. Make sure to clean the seats BEFORE you let people into the theatre. Won’t have my business no more and we’ve been coming here for 10 years. What a joke!

Went to the movies tonight to see Saw X. First issue was the popcorn had a weird taste, thought it was the butter so we asked for a remake without butter a still had a very stale weird taste. We go into the movie room 12, not even 15 minutes into the movie mice are crawling around!!! I’m thinking I’m seeing something wrong, but nope! 30 or so minutes later, they were all up and down the stairs!!!! Disgusting! We go to the movies several times a month and never have I experienced such a thing! This is horrible and they need to be shut down!

Update: Visited again after a few years. I'm disapointed to say, they don't seem to care about the upkeep. Many trays were peeling away with some sharp edges. The floor also looked like it hadn't been cleaned or vacuumed in ages. I had to remove a star. They recently updated their theater rooms. The new seats are recliners and they also have trays. Each seat gives you plenty of room now. The few things they could improve on are that the seats don't recline that far and it was way to hot in there. I was sweating to the leather seats. Edit: Just visited again, and had an improved experience. There are a few things I want to add. Finding seats is less stressful now because you have to select your seats when you buy your ticket. I like this becuase You dont have to worry about getting there early to get good seats or find multiple seats together. Also, the reason I was sweating to my seat was because the seats are actually heated. It is a feature you can turn on and off.

The popcorn was freshly made. The server was great. The screen looked as though someone through something on it. It was annoying seeing that on the screen. The seating could be cleaned better. My chair had some garbage in it from a previous customer.

Management here is trash. They literally just stand there watching their employees struggle through 30-40 minute concessions line.

Went at 3pm on a 90 degree day. Sat in the top row...and it was SO HOT that I almost left. I stayed because it was my mom's birthday and her favorite movie series Indiana jones but WOW. Literally sweating the entire time. Also the website says they serve mixed drinks like cocktails but they don't. The popcorn tasted odd but I'm not sure why. Maybe old oil or bad butter topping. My mom and I agreed we would never go there again. The only reason we didn't go to the theater in our town was because the only showing was 7pm and we wanted an earlier showing. Plus a place that served cocktails for her bday. Huge mistake. The employees were fine, but none were 21 but the manager, who had to be called to pour a beer.
