Pretty cool to have entertainment down south. I haven't been to the theatre in Waxahachie since Covid hit. Decided to catch a matinee on today and was pleasantly surprised. More than a theater. I was shocked to see such a nice gaming area and an updated bowling alley. They have a concession area as well as a bar and a restaurant. The theater was spacious and nice comfortable reclining chairs. Tuesday is their movie discount day. The staff is cordial and they had $1 hotdogs. Will definitely be a regular

Great theater! Clean and fun atmosphere. The reclining leather seats with trays are great for comfort and accomodating your movie snacks. They also have bowling and good game selection if you want to make a day out of it. The Cafe and Bar are also great perks.

Great recliners! Good sound, big screen. Nice staff. Bowling alleys were sold out. Nice place for families. Over 7 bucks for a bag of popcorn. Seems about right. No one was overly rambunctious or talking to the screen like we often get in Mansfield or up by the mall in Arlington. It felt safe here.

My 1st time here. What an amazing experience. Customer service exceeded my expectations. Josh & Juan were so awesome! I live in Arkansas. What an amazing experience it was. You guys did not disappoint! The movie " The Equalizer" was amazing. The reclining seats, sound system, and food all exceeded my expectations! Thanks for everything! Kudos again to Josh & Juan! 10 stars!

Everything was good except the food, it sucked. Ordered hot wings and they were dry. The fried pickles were not round but thin sliced. All you can taste is the bather and grease. Ordered nachos and the chips were not fresh. French fries were overcooked. For 90 dollars on food I could of eat somewhere else way better. Was my first time there. The waitress was great. She kept coming over asking if we needed anything else. The staff was friendly and overall we did have a lot of fun. So it is a great place just not the food.

I brought my three daughters to see the 7/25/23 7:20pm showing of the Barbie Movie. I purchased seats A1, A2,A3 and B1 because the show was nearly sold out. I got my girls comfortable in their seats and to my surprise a woman was sitting in my seat. I showed her my ticket that a purchased seat B1 and she turned to her friend and said hey you purchased seat B1 and B2 correct. I went to the front and the young lady at the check in followed me to the theater to try to resolve the matter. The two middle age Caucasian women said they did not have their tickets with them because they threw them away. The young theater attendant asked me to go back with her to the front as she tries to look up the other woman's tickets in the system. She tried using the woman's phone number and nothing came up. At this time the movie has started and my girls are in the theater alone. One of the women came up front and said I found one ticket. I purchased it yesterday and it was for seat B2. Still no proof of seat B1 being purchased. The manager came and I was given the available handicap seat D1 away from my children as these two women where able to proceed with watching the movie. The manager had no interest in investigating the matter. I said well is there any accommodations because I have missed 30minutes of the movie dealing with this? The manager waved me off and said how many are in your party? Just come here after the movie and I'll have passes for you. I had to go to my daughters and show them where my new seat was in case they needed anything or to go to the rest room because the seat I purchased was taken without proof of purchase. Had the roles been reversed and I had no proof of purchase I would have been asked to give up my seat to the person that had proof of purchase. I am so disappointed in the Waxahachie theater. I just had my daughter's birthday here back in April and my husband and I were planning on celebrating our other daughter's birthday in August. I will not give this theater the satisfaction of my hard earned movie. I am in medical management and I had just gotten off of work and wanted to surprise my girls with a movie date but I got the surprise of poor management and customer service. How is a movie goer allowed to be seated in a movie without a ticket and the customer with a ticket redirected to another seat away from her children? Maybe it was the color of my skin that did not grant me access to the seat I purchased.

Our local place for movies and bowling is great … sometimes bathrooms could use some more frequent cleaning but the food is decent but bowling and games are fun, movies have good reclining seats.

If you want to enjoy some good food and good drinks then the Showbiz Bar and Bowling is the spot to visit!! Craven is the absolute BEST bar tender in Ellis County!! She is so sweet and is quick. She definitely has great people and drink mixing skills!! I don't feel like I am being ignored or pushed to the side when ordering and asking for suggestions.

I hear a lot of negative things about this theater on social media and I have to say I have never experienced even one negative moment here. Maybe I've been fortunate, but I love watching movie and bowling here. It's always clean and the seats are the roomy reclining type with a swivel tray.

Great reclining chairs, nice sound system. Popcorn is a bit salty, but I like the self-service concessions. Arcade games and bowling too!
