Showplace East

This place has many theaters. The quality of video was great and the sound was great. Theaters and restrooms were clean. I would like to see the bring back the people who checked the tickets at the top of the stairs at the entrance. For all of those who order online and could just walk right in are now required to wait in long lines at the ticket desk to get paper tickets.

Extra charges if use credit card. Location has new rules for kids under 15 must be accompanied by adult in evenings. That's a plus to keep the unruly under control. Bathrooms were clean but theater itself needed some maintenace and cleaning. Staff friendly and great sound. Temps always are cool but I plan for that. My favorite place to be!

I'm old. Theater seats used to be hard and flip up when you stood old. The recliners are great. The video and sound were excellent. The snacks were expensive but then they always have been. The bathrooms were pretty clean which is saying something. Overall a very good experience

It was a great experience, the sits were electric reclining chairs and very comfortable. The only other place I found more comfortable sits that here were in Boca Raton the VIP area was amazing. The only thing I wish would be a little better was the cleaning, but it could have been bc of COVID we were just starting to get somewhat back to normal, if normal is even a real thing. What's normal after all?! I hope next time I come to see a movie, the theater will be cleaner.

Spacious and a good selection of movies. Many times I've come here, most of the theaters are relatively empty, which is good for people who don't want to be packed shoulder to shoulder. A little dirty here and there, but that's expected of a larger establishment with constant traffic.

Went to Showplace Cinema East last night to see The Chosen. I’ve never been in a theater so cold. Wore my coat and gloves through the whole movie. Will not go there again!

Getting management to handle people on their phones is impossible. Gave them a seat number and it still took several complaints and me pointing at the people to get the job done. Go to AMC. Better experience and better results when people are ruining the movie

Horribly designed theatre. Employees are incompetent. They sell gift cards that apparently haven’t been working for awhile but it’s a “temporary problem”. Go to AMC on the west side. Much nicer and operated by a competent corporation.

I love this theater. From the perfect reclining seats to the warm water in the restroom. And such a blessing on $5 Tuesday.

Reclining seat broken but assigned seats so had to just deal with it. Arm rests were very sticky and hadn't looked like they had been cleaned off in quite some time.
