This organization has partnered with the city and parish to help start Shreveport's first dog park.
The Shreveport Dog Park Alliance has partnered with Shreveport and Caddo Parish using $280,000 from the Red River Waterway Commission to start a regional dog park on the riverfront at the Stoner Boat Launch Facility, 857East Stoner Ave in Shreveport LA 71101, on Clyde Fant Parkway. The donations received from you, the members of the community helped the Shreveport Dog Park Alliance give $28,000 to help design and start the dog park! To make our community a more “animal friendly” place by creating a regional dog park/event venue, to enhance the lives of the people and their pets. The Alliance will assist others in the community to make neighborhood dog parks or leash free areas. The Alliance is an advocate for other animal groups in our community.
The Alliance promotes events you can take your dog to and helps to promote places and events that allow pets.
