Shubie Park Dog Off Leash Area

Super wonderful spot, great walk for humans and lots of space for dogs! I have been going for over three years and never experienced a bad temper dog. Washrooms are located at the fairbank centre and there are lots of benches and garbages along the trails.

This is a great place to let your dog, be a dog. It’s got a nice mix of trails, water features and areas. There are lots of places to sit. The trails are well kept and easy to navigate. I have a mobility challenge, I find most places quite difficult. This park is good. I had no trouble here. Plus my dog had a great time; and had good exercise. This is great place for dog owners and those who like to walk in nature.

Can’t get enough of this place. My pup loves to explore the trails and then end with a dip in the lake at the beach. Such a fun time for dogs and owners.

Great spot for your well behaved dogs. Nice to see the dogs running off leash and chasing each other around. The water play is fun for them as well, great spot for your pooch to cool down and fetch some sticks thrown into the water. Bring poop bags and please clean up after your pets.

Came in off Locks Rd. Nice entrance. Short walk to dog beach . Nice people and pets. Beautiful view of Lake Micmac. Lots of paddle boards. If you have a you should visit this park. Off leash area large and woodsy.

A great place to take your dog for a walk in the most beautiful nature area. The park offers great trails and rest areas with a lot of benches. The trees here have many bird houses if you are interested in bird watching. The views along the canal are wonderful.

This has to be the best off leash dog park in HRM. Every dog owner is friendly and so are the dogs. It's a great place to let your pooch stretch their legs. Something they can't do walking down the street on a leash. Shubie park is definitely worth the drive.

My wife and I took our daughter for a walk. Fall time is my favourite time to go to shubie park. The colour of the leaves were beautiful! my daughter enjoyed seeing all the dogs their most of them were well-behaved! Totally recommend this to anybody that would like a well taken care of path. There are plenty of trails.

What a lovely place in Halifax! This place is definitely my dog’s heaven lol. As a dog lover and also a dog mom, i truly love this place. We bring our dog here every weekend. I would give for this park.
