I washed my car this past weekend. The first bay I pulled into had a sign on the card reader that it was not working. No problem, I used another bay and swiped my card and washed my car using the brush which intermittently spewed out blue soap which stained my hand because the fitting was loose. Then I got my bank statement and saw I was charged $10 for the self wash when the sign says $2.75. Definitely a No Pro car wash. :
Low water pressure from wand, not much soap coming out of foaming brush. Should have just washed the car at home.
Pathetic! The self wash does not tell you how much time you get per dollar or the bare minimum a credit card will be charged. But worst of all was the foaming brush. It looked like windex coming out of the brush head---no foam see pic! Glad the foam brush was the first thing i tried so I will contest the charge to my Visa card whatever it is going to be is a mystery. From other reviews the automatic car wash is no better... Maybe worse! AVOID THIS PLACE.
I have used this automatic car wash many times over the last few years because it is convenient to my house but I am at the end of my rope. You can no longer get the best wash tape over the button, so I get the $10 wash. Today, I barely got enough soap to see let alone clean anything. My car looked like it just went through a rain storm at best. In addition, the maintenance around this place is terrible. Always trash, dirt, ext. laying in the bays. I will drive 5 miles out of my way to another car wash.
I really needed a car wash. After our trip from N. Charleston to here, my car had never been so dirty. Back home in Florida, I am a member of a daily wash club at a beautiful car wash very near my home. Just bought my VW Jetta in late October. Didn't want to go to a car wash with brushes that may scratch your car. Here I just used the wand only with the spray rinse wash and wax.
Owner doesn't want people coming and using his car wash. Spent 10 minutes talking to us about his other customers and how bad they are. Was very aggressive. We decided to leave, and as we did so he told us he was calling the cops on us. I think he might have been drunk or on drugs. Avoid this place, way more effort for a simple car wash then it is worth.
I usualy use the car wash in OC not far from the rt 90 bridge but didn't have the time so I figured I'd give it a go. Prices are on par with most other places I've been to as well as the options they offer. The automatic wash was very disappointing as the light up signage showing which cleaning cycle was in progress was not working. Also between the different cycles the machine didn't change the chemicals out fast enough to actually clean half the vehicle. For instance when applying the soap the entire from end up to the driver window was water while the rest of the vehicle was covered in multicolor soap. This is a second attempt at use of this location, I would stay away from the automated wash and use only the hand wands.
Credit card swipe didn't work on one the vacuums. Had to break a $10 bill at the changer because i didn't trust the swipe machines Update for your response: so its ok for your machines to NOT work and have me charged? I did see the number and call NUMEROUS times! I never spoke to anyone. So yea.. I will leave a review based on my experience.
This is definitely the place that you want to go if you want to just set your money on fire. I was returning a rental car so I purchased the basic wash but there was still quite a bit of dirt so I went back through and paid 12 more dollars for the car to come out looking exactly the same as before I drove through. Just like everyone else said no soap actually came out of the machine. This place should be shut down for fraud and theft. I'm going to be trying to get ahold of somebody to get my money back and see if they can close this place down as this is highway robbery.
