At Shuler's Memorial we felt like a part of their family they were really there for us. They gave us awesome service and took time to listen to what we wanted for our father. They were professional, kind and understanding to us. We were really grieving and they understood and listened. The viewing and funeral service was beautiful and the staff was thoughtful and helped us with all of the program and arrangements for the service, everything was very specific to our liking. Thank you so much for being their for us. Robbie
The staff was very compassionate and patient during the planning of the service. They worked with me to find the best plan and didn't try to push expensive overpriced products. They have buried all of my family members for 2 generations.
I was referred to Shulers Memorial Funeral Home via a family friend. I didn’t know anything about this Funeral Home at all. When I lived in the area there were two services to choose fromboth located on Tamarind. I trusted my family friend. WHAT A BLESSING! From my first point of contact until all was said and done …my experience was more than I could have prayed for. Dr. Craig Pender and staff made me and my family feel like family. Once I expressed to him that I wanted my dad transported back to WPB …he put things in motion. He answered questions that I had before I could ask them. He was just a phone call away anytime I was uncertain about anything. I can’t say enough about the caring service my family received. My dad looked AMAZING. We were all at ease because of the communication/compassion that was showed. God makes no mistakes. My dad is at peace now. Thank you again SHULERS MEMORIAL..WPB
Shuler's Memorial did the funeral for my second parent who passed. When the first passed, we used a corporate company and it was awful. I am so happy I went with Shuler's this time. They were caring yet professional. It felt like having a family member help you at one of the hardest moments of our life.
I had the honor of using Schular's memorial chapel recently for a loved one. The staff I encountered gave a warm feeling of compassion. They worked with us and gave a beautiful service. The presentation of my loved one was phenomenal! She looked as though she was resting eternally. It gave me a great sense of peace knowing she was treated so well and with such respect. We took full advantage of the limo service and the escort services provided. I would recommend them for anyone who is looking for a respectful compassionate service.
I have never used Shuler's Memorial Chapel but never will. I was in traffic yesterday and realized I was following a hearse. The back curtains were open and I could see a large white box with a female's name on it and further writing indicated the box contained human remains. Now, I understand life and death issues.....but somehow felt that this was a tremendous violation of a deceased person's dignity. When transporting a deceased human being, please keep the curtains closed. That is decent and demonstrates respect. This was a reckless disregard for both.
My mother passed away without notice and we had no idea what to do. She always wanted Shuler's to handle the funeral and that was the first place we went to. From the time we walked in till the funeral itself, the people of this funeral home treated us like family and took a lot of the shock and unknown out of our hands. They explained everything more than once, let us pick and chose what we wanted to do or not do and there was no pressure for anything. They even called cemeteries for us. They answer every time you call and put you as a priority. Miss Yvonne is the best. She is just down to Earth and called all the time to see how we were doing and if we needed anything. Everyone there cares about you and your family. You don't have to know what to do when a loved one passes, they will hold your hand and guide you the whole way.
As owner and CEO of Shuler's Memorial Chapel, the claim on someone seeing a name on a casket or container being transported in our hearse is absolutely untrue. The names are always on the inside and our curtains are always closed on our beautiful modern hearse's . We are a prestigious funeral home with professional, superb and compassionate service for over 30 years.
Our most recent experience with Shuler's Memorial Chapel could have been enhanced more if they had reliable musiciansthey were a no show for the service and escort service they had their kids in the escort vehicle and that was a distraction for them because their services were ineffective in blocking traffic the staff was great, however, I feel that they should have acknowledged the floral arrangements at the end of the service because they had time to advertise their business. Some people felt slighted because the arrangements were not announced.
The whole experience once you walk through the door is amazing. The staff is very warm and compassionate . The Chapel is beautiful and the services are done with the utmost respect and dignity. Shuler's Funeral Services is a prestigious facility and I want to thank everyone there.
