The gift shop is a beautiful collection of local artists. Enter the museum through the gift shop on the bottom floor. The exhibits are fun and entertaining though not professionally built. If you want a bit of the past in Port Orchard then go here. Plus it's free!
A Port Orchard staple for decades. Operated extensively by tireless volunteers, it represents a collection of unique and talented artists' work. OPEN NOW on weekends. Well worth a stroll through the collection. Lovely, inexpensive works of art. Attached images are currently on display - available to purchase.

Had a wonderful experience here the staff was friendly and very helpful, they have some beautiful art for purchase, definitely a great experience, the upstairs museum was so much fun to tour. Sadly they had an electric issue so lack of lighting in the museum area, but they had flashlights for us to use while there. We enjoyed the history as well as viewing all the art. Will definitely go back and probably will many times. The art here changes to a new exhibit each month. Definitely worth the time My kiddos had a fantastic time too. Loved it !!!
Small but very nice museum. Downstairs is an art gallery was beautiful pieces of art. Upstairs is the museum, with a lot of artifacts and photos of the area from the past. Very well done and laid out and very informative. It's free but donations are suggested.
What a wonderful place, They were setting up for a show but I felt welcome, I found a lovely quilt heart for my nightstand. Although it was under low light the Sidney Museum upstairs was excellent. Very inspiring for artists and writers who love to create and enjoy the past.
The upstairs museum helps you understand the local history of Port Orchard. They have quite the collection of vintage hats! The art gallery sells a wide variety of art: from paintings, glass work, wood carvings, ceramics, fiber/fabric, and much more. This is a great place to find a gift for someone.
This wonderful local art gallery and museum is worth multiple visits! The gallery has a new show every month. From students work, to local artist, competitions and judged shows to themes to promote art and the local scenery. From mixed media, ceramics, painting, drawings, printmaking, fiber art, jewelry. . .etc. Plus the receptions are once a month where the artist are there to discuss their inspiration and a killer food spread! The best part is they have workshops taught by the local artist. They provide all the supplies and you pay to spend the afternoon creating your own masterpiece using the techniques they use. It is exactly what their mission is. Promote art and history! The volunteers are hard workers and so sweet! The vibes you get can be described as family and community centered.
The Sidney Art Museum is a perfect place to see the history of Port Orchard upstairs and beautiful artwork for sale on the main floor.Wait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
I love the people here!! It has a small gift shop and gallery that will knock your socks off. Multiple modalities are featured by super-talented local artists. Go in and give it a chance. You will not be disappointed!
