My brother is at this facility. I've heard him beg to be changed. They leave him soaking in urine for 15 hours at a time. I've sent him supplies to help him. I've been on the phone while staff is very rude to him. He needs better care. He has bed sores and pressure wounds Physics therapy is wonderful here as is occupational therapy.
Unacceptable. Recycling cups. This is a 133 room and used on my mother is in a different room. No wonder why is there is so many COVID-19 cases. I saw the gentleman/Haitian, thin in his mid 50s. But I never got his name hemce unknown. I'm discharging my mother from facility ASAP. Subsequently I discharged my mother and contacted DCF for an investigation because she told me the night shift was rude, rough while changing her. She had bruises.
Mom was discharged to Signature from Bethesda after hip replacement surgery, with a horrid bed sore. While there were several really great people among the Signature staff, a clear lack of cohesiveness and teamwork was evident. Staff didn’t seem to be working together, helping each other or focusing on care of the patients. The nurse station was frequently unattended leaving us to catch someone as they passed by. It was impossible to reach someone for a status on mom after visiting hours. Pain management was poor, with frequent nurse bell rings needed for more medication. We were not permitted to stay the night. Mom would never ring the bell or ask for help. She would get up on her own and was a huge fall risk. Physical therapy did really well, getting mom walking really well everyday. It took days to change her bed to an air bed. The facility was disgusting and in severe need of upgrade and maintenance. We are grateful for the good that happened at Signature but overall found the experience to be frightening and sad. We spoke with several management staff while there but sadly no real improvement occurred. We move mom as soon as we could.
Run don't walk this place is horrific. Yet. The things that I have witnessed on my visitations. Here are absolutely ridiculous people screaming for help, nurses eating behind desk While Patients lights were on and asking for help through the hallways period
My dad was hospitalized and he was later referred to this facility. This was the first time he went through this process. He spent nearly 3 weeks. It was an awesome experience. He was treated with respect and professionalism. He was discharged today and he hasn't stopped telling me the great experience he had. He will miss the whole team. He loves the PTs, OTs, nurses, LPNs, everyone. I was very impressed with the discharge report. Thank you so much ALL. :
My father has been placed there three times since 2020. I have been pleased with the staff there, from the therapists both occupational & physical to housekeeping. They are friendly, effective and very hospitable. The facilities are clean, food is good. They are like family to my dad and I feel good leaving him there. I would recommend Signature to any family in need of skilled nursing for their loved one.
Over the years my mom has had several incidents requiring rehab. She had several stays in Signature however last year she had an incident which required rehab. Signature had no beds and we had to place her in another facility. In fact she was in one facility and discharged only to have to return to a different facility as she was not fully ready to come home. The care at both facilities DOES NOT compare to Signature. A few weeks ago my mother had hip replacement and by the grace of God there was a bed open at Signature. I cannot say enough good things about the staff, nurses and therapists. Her first day in, physical therapy called to advise me of their plan as well as culinary to ask about food allergies and likes and dislikes. They go above and beyond which is something other skilled nursing facilities do not take the time to do. Upon my arrival her first night, the head nurse sat with me to go over her medicines as well as her first round of blood work. My mother has been here a few weeks now and her care has simply been wonderful. My mind, as her primary caretaker, is at ease knowing she is in the best place with the best care possible. I cannot say enough good things about Signature and their entire staff. If the time ever comes that she needs more permanent care I pray Signature is where she can be.
This facility singlehandly rejuvated my father to nearly 100 percent of his overall physical health. He had tremors, balance issues and speech irregularities stemming from his early onsets of neurological diseases. The staff helped regain his vigor for life and thanks to that, he is back home and is able to function much better with the exercise techniques he learned at the rehab facility. Thank you so much!
This is a very nice, clean place, everyone is very nice and they take great care of the patients. They learn each resident name, their families and are very patient & caring with the patients and provide top of the line care. My grandfather was recently a patient there he loved it. Whenever we visit he is always happy and never complained. He said the food was tasty, he participated in activities and he received physical therapy everyday which helped him get stronger. During COVID their residents were always top priority with keeping them safe and healthy. I really appreciate everything they did for my grandad while he was there- if he needs to return this place would be number 1 on the list. They also recently remodeled and it looks gorgeous! I gave 5 stars but they deserve so much more 100 stars . THANK YOU TO ALL THE WONDERFUL STAFF AT SIGNATURE HealthCARE of Palm Beach!
I have plenty of friends and family that are and have previously been a part of the Palm Beach family. I have heard nothing but goo things like - it is a great place to work, with an amazing atmosphere. Most important the patients are well taken care of and feel at home. Which you can see in their faces. Lots of smiles and laughter. I would recommend this facility to anyone of my friends or extended family members. If someone you love needs short or long term care Signature HealthCARE of Palm Beach is a great choice.
