Signature Psychiatric Hospital is a 72-bed behavioral health unit located on the North Kansas City Hospital and Liberty Hospital campuses.
Signature Psychiatric Hospital provides services that treat and stabilize patients in crisis. Patients will be evaluated and treated by our team of psychiatrists, nurses, social workers and therapists.
Signature offers comprehensive behavioral healthcare and treats a wide variety of mental illnesses including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, suicidal or homicidal thoughts as well as medical detoxification from drugs and alcohol.
At Signature we provide treatment that is both immediate and effective. Patients are seen by a psychiatrist upon admission, and in collaboration with our social workers and therapists, are given an individualized treatment plan to meet their specific needs.
We realize that the struggles of daily life can become overwhelming, and that most of the people we treat will need more than just medication to manage them. We offer a holistic approach that treats the mind, body, and spirit through programs like yoga, music, art, and recreational therapy. We want to give our patients hope and provide the tools, treatment, and resources necessary to ensure their success while they are in our facility as well as after they leave.
Signature also offers programs for patients transitioning back into the community who do not require the level of care that an inpatient stay may require.
